GET UP!
Proverbs 24:16 states: Even if godly people fall down seven times, they always get up. But those who are evil are brought down by trouble. Whether you fall into sin, because of disappointment (in yourself or due to others) or because you feel like you have failed – GET UP! Now, we as Children of God do not habitually (knowingly, practice) sin either (1 John 3:6 NIV). Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You’re not the only one plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before our generous God who has great plans for us in Christ — eternal and glorious plans they are! — will have you put together and on your feet for good.
