Test & Trials Happen To Us All

Hello Hello: I know the thoughts and the plans the Lord has towards me; they are thoughts of good and not of evil - to give me a hope, a future, an expected end. The Living Water a few days ago talked about our faith being tested. It listed the scripture James 1:3 which states 'When your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. It also listed Romans 5:3 states 'We know that the {trials} are good for us, they help us learn to endure. Our faith is tested on a daily basis. It's tested on our jobs, in our marriages/relationships, in our relationships with our children, in what we believe who we are, what we can do, and what we can have in Christ Jesus on this earth. James talks about trials being good for us, and they are. I can say that without a funny look on my face. Trials help us to grow; and anything and everything that we go through, we should learn something - of ourselves and of what we can do. James 1:2 says that we should count it all joy when ...

A Little Word Everyday!

Hello Again! I just want to encourage you to read the Word of God everyday. Even if it's just a little bit. I know that we all are very busy with work, spouse, children, and different activities, but it is very important for us all to read the Word of God everyday. Even if you have those inspirational calendars with a scripture on it or maybe you receive inspirational email with a scripture. It is important. The Word of God is where we draw our strength from. It is what gives us hope. It like spinach to Popeye. It gives us strength to fight against the enemy. The devil wants you to fail; he wants you to bound down with the cares of this world. God has given us everything we will need in His Word to live a healthy, prosperous and happy life here on this earth. I receive the Living Water everyday. It's gives you scripture(s), and inspiration to uplift you and build you up in your most holy faith in God. It only takes a few minute to read, and I can read it when ever I want to or ...

God is Good All the Time

Hello: Jesus is still on the throne, and is seated at the right hand of the Father ever making intercession for you and for me. Not only is He seated at the right hand of the Father, but we are seated in Him far above the forces of the enemy. We WIN! We are VICTORIOUS in every area of our lives. I truly believe that! I am more than a conqueror in HIM through Christ Jesus. I just want to update all of you about the situation concerning my car. Well as I've told you before - the Word of God will work for you if you work the Word. We have got to speak the Word of God concerning our situations. There is something in the Word of God concerning every situation we could ever face. AnyWho, God showed up and He showed out on my behalf. Now, some might say 'Oh, that was just luck' or 'That could have happend for anybody'. What that person doesn't know is that I specifically asked God to do what He did. I prayed first for a peaceful process and that He would turn this, whi...

It's A New Day, A New Year, A New Season

Good Morning! Happy New Year!!!!!!!!! I know that many of you have made "new year resolutions" and have vowed to stick to them this time. I pray God that you have made the choice to continue in Him this year as well. Not only to continue in Him, but to mature and grow in Him - to trust Him this year. We are going to have to trust the Lord like never before. We are going to have to trust that the thoughts and plans that the Lord has towards us are thoughts of good/peace and not of evil. We are going to have to know who we are as the children of God and walk it out. We are the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. I pray that in your making of resolutions this year that you have stop playing and get about the things of God. The enemy is busy; he is working to get our eyes off of the Lord. We have to remain sharp in the things of God. Things are happening all around us not only personally, corporately, but worldwide. People are killing each other like never before. There...

Love Loves - July 11, 2006

Good Morning! When I was younger I use to say that I needed to be on my own island..................far far away from other people When people irritate me I say "Absolutely Irritating", because people tend to irritate me. I have very low tolerance for stupidity and inconsiderateness, and it seems that those type of people are around me everywhere that I go. But the Lord is dealing with me on that. I asked Him to help me to deal with people. Now, this is not to say that I'm going to let people treat me any kind of way or say anything they want o me . My mother didn't raise a wimp or a whipping post, and Jesus took everything that we could and would ever go through upon Himself on the cross so that I wouldn't have to. We don't have to take people being rude to us. But there's a right way of going about not taking people "crap". I, myself, don't often use this method, but I know how to do it right. My mother always told me to just pray and ...

Wealth vs. Relationship with God

Hello: I know that you are enjoying this holiday season. It's a time to reflect and think about those special someones in our life. Most important is to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savor, Jesus Christ - He is the reason for the season. It's sad to say that this is the only time that He is thought of or sought after by some people. Their is better spent by seeking after the things of this world. Luke 12:21 tells us that the foolish store up earthy wealth (things/money), but do not have a relationship with God. To some having a relationship with God is the furthest thing from their mind. We as children of the Most High God are not foolish; we understand that the things of this world are temporal (subject to change), and do not last forever. We know that we are only "visitors"; we are "aliens" - we are not of this world. And no, I haven't been watching too many sci- fi flicks; and no, I haven't lost my mind. As children of God, we...

Press In, Press On & Press Through - 10/10/07

The Lord is great and greatly to be praise! Have you ever had the "blahs"; where you just don't feel like doing anything? All you want to do is those things that you have to do to live/survive; anything more than that is a chore; it is draining - you don't want to talk or do anything; I mean absolutely nothing. I've been like that this week. Maybe I just need a break I thought. I'll tell it on myself - I haven't been reading or praying or studying that much all this week. I'm not depressed or anything - just BLAH. I'm sitting here tonight , and I thought 'Now, how are you going to "encourage" people in the Lord when you're not putting yourself in a position to hear what the Lord would say?' OUCH! I thought 'Hey, I have some things that I want God to do on my behalf on my family's behalf. Just when God is about to open the door we may feel faint and want to give up and give in. We don't want to press ...
