What Are You Basing Your Life On?

What Are You Basing Your Life On? There is so much going on in the world. Every time I turn on the news I hear of more people losing their jobs, increase in unemployment and sickness and diseases. There are some people dealing with divorce, problems with their children or stress of on the job. There are many distractions we have to deal with. This being said, ask yourself – Do I base my life on my circumstance or on the Word of God. I have gone through some things where I based my life on the things going on in my life; the circumstances said that I was “doomed!” I couldn’t see a way out. Have you ever gone through something where the circumstances were so “in your face” and so loud that you couldn’t see or hear anything else but that circumstance/problem? I think we all have been there at least once. Even though your circumstance/problem presents itself “bigger” than God, it’s not! In one on my children’s books it says “There will never be anyone or anything greater or more ...

How's Your Love Walk?

1 John 3:17 asks if anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? It is written in Romans 5:5: And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Matthew 5:46 states: If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors (sinners) doing that? Matthew 5:43, 44 states: 43You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy; 44But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Today I ask you as I ask myself; How is your (my) love walk? I’m talking to all but especially to those of the household of faith. Do we really love as our Lord loved us; or is the love that we are giving from self, which is limited? How is it that in our services we profess our love for one another yet when we walk out of the church doors that love...

Good News!

Happy New Year! It’s a good day to praise the Lord. 2012 is going to be a GREAT year, and we are going to talk about one of the reasons today! I don’t know about you, but I love getting good news. Good news gives one hope; it encourages us to keep moving forward. The best good news in the world is found in 1 John 5:10-15: 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know ...

Are You Growing/Maturing in Christ Jesus?

I will bless the Lord at all times. I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. I am so blessed to be a child of God, a daughter of the Most High. Jesus is definitely the reason for the season, and we as Christians should strive to be just like Him. He is the ultimate role model. As I look back on this year, I had some highs and some lows, good times and bad. But with all the trials and tribulations I had to go through, I came out victorious. Looking back I can see some growth personally and spiritually, and this should be happening with us all; we should be able to see some growth even if it is very little. We should all be improving in some area(s). Hebrews 6:1-6 states: 1 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,[a] and of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites,[b] the laying on of hands, the r...

YOU Pray Too!

Do you understand how important it is for you to pray for your thing? In other words, you should pray for that which you want God to do for you. Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with getting others to pray in agreement with you, but you have to pray too. Some many times people want you to pray for their thing, pull their need in for them, and they do not even pray themselves. The Word of God tells us in Matthew 9:29 – according to your faith, let it be done unto you. Jesus was telling this to the blind men, but it is the same for us as well. All things are possible to those who believe. It’s according to YOUR faith, belief that when you pray the Word of God will come to pass, not the pastor’s, not the evangelist, not momma and daddy’s faith – YOUR FAITH! If you can believe that when you pray God’s Word and receive it, it will come to pass – it be done unto you. Yes, you can ask the pastor, the evangelist, momma, and daddy to add their faith to yours. The Word of God als...

Arrival of Gianni w/God's Grace

Image
Well, the newest and very last addtion to the LPC's (Loud Pirozzi Clan) arrived on September 9, 2011. I went into the hospital around 6:00 AM and had Gianni at 10:52 AM - WOW! Praise God. I had an awesome birth experience which made up for the last one. Everything went just as I hoped it would; as a matter of fact, Gianni was trying to come on his own. Dr. Russell did an AWESOME job in delivery & the nurses in delivery were kind, compassionate & fun. It really was a wonderful experience. But during this pregnancy, I dealt with alittle depression (I don't know where they was coming from). Even on my worst days, I don't let thing "keep" me down; it might come, but it never stayed like this. I wasn't reading or praying as I should, and I had a really bad attitude (pregnant horomones included). None of my other pregnancies did I feel this way. I mean, I know what's at stake here. I know that Jesus can come back any day now. I know, as I hav...

Spirit of the Living God

Good Morning: Last night I had this song in spirit. First I began to hum it; before long I was singing the words out of mouth. As I began to sing this song out loud, I began to feel some of the heaviness that had been on me melt away. The song goes like this: Spirit of the Living God, We affirm your presence here. Spirit of the Living God, We affirm your power here. To Heal us, and to deliver us To Fill us, and to change us Spirit of God I made the song personal to me; instead of "we", I put "I" - replace "us" with "me". The Spirit of God is all around us whether we fell Him or not - He is there. The Spirit of the Living God does have the power to heal us of any and ALL sickness, diseases, irritations or discomforts. He has the power to deliver us from any problem or situation we will ever face. He has the power to fill us with that power, and with peace, joy and happiness God wants for all of us. He has the POWER to change...
