Be Encouraged Today!

Well this is going to be a blessed day in the Lord! Keys locked in the truck; can't take my daughter to school. Oh but Jesus is still on the Throne, and He alone is worthy of my praise. Devil you still LOSE! HA! Sometimes you just got to laugh in the devil's face, and let him know that he can not steal your joy! For this is the day the Lord has made, and I have already made the choice to rejoice and be glad in it. Many of you may know, my family and I moved from Louisiana to Maryland, and we drove with three (3) kids and two (2) dogs - yeah, it was a "fun" drive. I must say this was the most nerve-racking drive I have ever made. It's not because of the kids or the dogs as you may be thinking, but because we had a trailer attached to our Chevy Trailblazer. Well praise the Lord! Jesus is Alive, and He is seated at the right hand of God. I have Jesus as Lord and Savior; therefore, I have the Victory! Well Praise the Lord! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me. If you don’t know by now my husband, Aaron, got a job – Praise God- all the way in Maryland. He has been gone since the end of May. So I’ve been here with the kids and the packing. Well, I was hoping that we’d be up there by now; housing is so expensive up there and we have dogs too – so there have been issues. Though that might be so, where God guides He also provides (I have been reminding myself of this), and there is nothing impossible with God. I am a serious planner; I expect for things to go according to plan. It doesn’t have to go exactly the way I want it, but the results should be the same and accomplish around the same time. Well it has not gone according to my plan, and to be honest, I have been out of sorts. I have been up and down, and sometimes under “down”. Well Hallelujah!!! Thanks be unto God who always causes me to triumph. I win in Jesus’ name! It has been one thing after another over here in my world. I thank God for Jesus because without Him all hope would be doomed. I’ve said it before, the devil hates me. I guess I would too if someone was waging war against my kingdom. And in doing so, I should have known that there would be attacks; and knowing there would be attacks, I should have been putting my armor on every day, all the time. I have been asking reader at the end of blog “Did you put your armor on today?” for about six and a half (6 ½) years now, and I had slacked off myself. You know I will tell it on myself; I do so that the enemy can’t hold anything over me. But after being hit by attacks of “firey darts” – finances, issues with the kids – it’s time to do that I should have been doing again, faithfully.
