The Lord is great and greatly to be praise! Have you ever had the "blahs"; where you just don't feel like doing anything? The Plan – John 3:16 The Plan – John 3:16 It’s been some years since I’ve posted to this blog. God was dealing with me on some things. I am grateful to Him for chastening me which shows His love for me. I want to speak a little on God’s Plan – Redemption. Redemption is a gift; it cannot be earned, and it involves our turning away from sin and towards God. God made this task simple for us—the offering of His Son, Jesus. I want to come from the verse of John 3:16. I know, I know… We all know this verse; we could probably recite it in our sleep. This verse is one of the first scriptures we all learned in Bible School/Children’s Church. I think that was by God’s design, but not fully realized. In this, I want to bring to full fruition of God’s Plan by breaking down this scripture. Misplaced Object of Faith

In 2 Thessalonians 3:2, Paul asks believers to pray: "And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not Faith." At first glance, Paul appears to be speaking of people with evil intentions. Yet a closer look at the language he uses may reveal something deeper. The Greek word translated "unreasonable" is atopos , meaning "out of place," "misaligned," or "not in proper order." This suggests more than open hostility; it points to a condition of being spiritually misplaced. Throughout Scripture, one of Satan's most effective strategies is not necessarily to make people openly oppose God, but to subtly shift the object of their faith away from God's appointed provision. His greatest victories often come not through obvious rebellion but through misplaced trust, our faith. Two Truths

There are many things in this world that are true, and some that are false. There are many things that are right, and things that are wrong. In my thirty-seven (37) years of life, I have come to the conclusion of two definite truths – One (1) Jesus loves me (us) so very much, and two (2) the devil hates me so very much. These are true. Sometimes I think back on instances in my life, and think “It amazing that I am still alive.” But I know now that God had a plan! Jesus loves me (us) so much to the point of dying for us! Jesus died for you and me, and if you think of that in a personal way – ponder it – ‘Man, someone gave their life just me.’ Now I would probably give my life to save the lives of my children, but I a complete stranger; I’m gonna have to go with a solid no. It would definitely have to be God if I were to die for someone else; I ‘m just being honest – it’s preservation of life. God Knows Your Beginning & End - October 18th

God is good all the time! Don't you think it's awesome that God knows how many hairs are upon your head? Just think about it (unless you don't have any - LOL ). It is awesome that God knows your beginning and your end. He knows the thoughts He has towards you; they are thought of good and not of evil to give you a hope, a future, and expected end. Hmmm ...........an expected end??? When we "expect" something, we "look to" the occurrence or appearance of something. We as children of God should "look to" or expect good things to come to us and happen to us. God desires for our beginning to our end to be good. But there's something called "free will" - our ability to make a choice. Our lives are full of choices 'Do I go to church this Sunday or not?' or 'Do I cook tonight or eat out?' I Hear Ya Holy Spirit!

I just want to say that the Lord is Good. Yes, God is good, and He is good all the time. Now the Holy Spirit is God “The Spirit”. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, and He is the Revealer of all Truth. Now when Jesus died on the Cross and arose again to be seated at the right hand of God, He promised not to leave of us orphans. John 14:26 states: But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Now I’m sure I’m not the only one who knows what the Word of God says, and forgets it from time to time. Not so much that you forget it, but that we don’t use it as often as we should. The Word of God clearly tells, as stated above, that the Holy Spirit will remind us of everything He, God, has said to us.
