Old Writings - May 8, 2006

Hello:

Remember when you pray to pray His Word. Also remember that you can roll all of your cares over on Him. He is willing and able to take care of anything for us. Nothing is impossible with Him to those that believe.

Living Water Scripture:

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Philippians 4:6.

The Root Cause

Have you ever, as a child of God, sat back and wondered, “Why am I here again?!” or “Why am I going through this again?!” Have you ever had something that kept reoccurring in your life and not know why? Good Morning: It's been some time since I've written to you last, but know that God is still on the throne and is still in the business of performing miracles. He has all the answers to your concerning questions. He is the only one that can supply our every need. Settle it today that God is your only source. Your job is not your source, your husband or wife is not your source. God is our source for everything that we will ever need or want. Not only for monetary needs, but for love and hope, for sucess (career/relationships) and for health. These are some of the rewards we receive as children of God that live righteous lives. I've said it before and I will continue to say it. Maintain your relationship with the Father. Read and study His Word; pray and talk with Him everyday. Come As A Child

Hello: Long time no write! Motherhood certainty keeps one busy that's for sure. But I wouldn't change it for nothing of this world. It is by far the best and most important job I will ever have. I am still here, not so much everyday or week, but I promise to visit and write every month. I do want to encourage everyone to write comments or questions if you want to or have the chance. The day before yesterday my mother and I were playing with my five (5) month old daughter, Angelina, and we both recognized how trusting she was with us. Now, my mother has this beautiful hunter green marble flooring in her living room, and it does not provide padding if one should fall. But Angelina is not worried about the floor; she doesn't have a care in this world. She doesn't worry about where her next meal will come from or if she will have shelter. She expects when she cries (that's how she communicates) that her need (whether hunger, diaper change or affection) will be ...

We are all part of the human race. Every man, woman, and child on the Earth belongs to it. For those who believe—those who seek to be Christlike —our belief is in God. And the one thing that connects us to Him, the one thing that made reconciliation, restoration, and reunion with God possible, is the Cross of Christ . We believe that Jesus died on the Cross for our sins. Through that act, we became the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus —through Jesus and what He accomplished on the Cross of Calvary. In believing and accepting what was done for us there, something profound took place: we were clothed with the righteousness of Jesus Himself. Now, when God looks at us, He does not see our sin; He sees the righteousness of the perfect Lamb who was slain, blotting out every transgression. Sons and Daughters

I was up late the other night; I couldn’t sleep. So I just began to thank the Lord and told Him how much I appreciate Him – you know just loved on Him. I began to listen, and I heard that we are all children of God. We were all made/birth in His image, but we are not all sons and daughters of God. He showed me this in this illustration: A billionaire father has twelve (12) children, but only four (4) were mature enough to run the family business and would truly enjoy the benefits of the inheritance the father had for the children. These four (4) walked, talked, studied and mimicked their father so they could continue and have the success their father had and had put in place for them to have. The other eight (8) didn’t put forth the time or the effort to truly learn of or from the father. They never really cultivate the relationship with the father. Family Curses

I am here once again to offer a brief food for thought. The Word of God tells us, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” I approach this with humility and reverence, having no desire to “touch” those whom God has anointed to minister the Gospel. I would be the first to stand in the line labeled “nowhere near perfect.” Each of us has spiritual leaders whom we look to for guidance in the Word of God. At the same time, it is important to remember that our leaders are human, just as we are, and therefore capable of misunderstanding or misinterpreting Scripture. This reality does not diminish their calling—but it also does not absolve us, as Believers, from our responsibility to seek understanding of God’s Word for ourselves. For this reason, it is vital that we bring our Bibles and follow along as the Word is taught, ensuring that the whole Word of God is being presented.
