Do You Fear Hell Enough??
Do You Fear Hell?
There are some people that believe that just being “good” is going to grant them entrance into Heaven. A lot of people think just because they attend church every time the doors are opened that they are going to Heaven. But what these people don’t realized or do not acknowledge is that being good and/or going to church doesn’t make you a Child of God. It is good to be a “good” person and to attend church (Hebrews 10:25 - 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching), but if there is still sin, habitual sin, in your life, you are not going to Heaven. Let me make this simple and plain so that it is easily understood; if you are not doing the Word of God, loves what He loves and hate what He hates, you are going to Hell. The Word of God says that when Jesus comes back He will be looking for those who look like Him. Jesus did the Will of the Father, His Word!
There was a point in my own life that I believed I was going to Hell, I made bad decisions and chose to do things I knew were not pleasing in God’s sight – not as a Child of God would. So, I did what I wanted; if I was going to Hell, I was going to enjoy the now. I didn’t anything “bad”, but the conviction of knowing the Word of God and not doing it weighed on me. I knew back then that Hell is real, and that wasn’t where I wanted to go. There are so many good church going, tongue-talking saints with sin running rampant in their lives; just like I did. It’s because there is no real fear of going to Hell and missing Heaven. There are so many behind the pulpit that won’t tell people that they are going to Hell if they aren’t doing the Word, this is true! But it will much harder for “us” who know the Truth, The Word of God, and refuse to do it. For those who know to do good, do the Word of God, and does it not; to him it becomes sin (James 4:17). I’m talking to myself too; I’ve been there, going to church and living a lie. Be honest with yourself.
All the bad things we’ve heard about Hell in church and from movies, and yet we have no fear of going there. We live our lives the way we want to, only pleasing ourselves and our flesh, and we could care less if it is pleasing in God’s sight or not. God sees and knows ALL. There is nothing we do, say or even think that He doesn’t know. Everybody wants to go the Heaven, but they don’t want to do what it takes to get there. Yes, there are conditions to making it into Heaven and being a “good” person and/or going to church isn’t all it takes; there is so much more. Think about this….. The trump blows, those who are dead in Christ will go up, and we who are alive are caught up, and you are still here. You missed it! You will know exactly what happened, and what is to come. Don’t let this be you! Lord, Holy Spirit, help this not be me! I don’t want to go to Hell; I refuse to miss Heaven! You should refuse the same, and do all within your knowledge of the Word of God to not miss Jesus when He comes.
Repent now while there is still time. There is nothing to “bad” that God won’t forgive you. Truly turn from your sin and do it no more. I’ve said it before. There are going to be a lot of sad church goers and “good” people who are going to be left behind when Jesus says “Come up Hither”. Don’t let this be you. Repent NOW!!!!
Did you put on your armor today???
Be Encouraged Today!!!
Remember there's a sinner's prayer on this site. If you have back-slid or haven't tasted and seen that the Lord is Good, say this prayer. You don't have to be in a church building to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. There is a moment that will happen, and it will happen in a twinkling of an eye (as fast as you can blink), and those who have confessed Jesus as Lord and have walked according to the Word of God will be raptured up to be with Him forever and ever. Yes, it sounds too fantastical to be real, but don't take the chance that it's not and be left behind. So don't put this off. No one knows the hour or the day when this will take place, but it is for us to be ready when it's time to go. The first step is to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. If you say this prayer, contact me; let me welcome you and personally encouraged you in your new life with Jesus!
