Casting Down Imagination/Bad/Negative Thoughts

Now I know I'm the only one in the world that does this - get carried away with thoughts. Thank God I've learn to cast those negative thoughts down, and that I have authority to call those things to be not as though there were. I no longer get carried away with my thoughts. Unused Word of God

As I wrote to you last week, there is a devil out there that is trying to destroy you. He doesn’t want you to win! He wants you to quit this race. He wants you to give up, be cast down and utterly destroyed. He comes in like a roaring lion seeking those he can devour (1 Peter 5:8). He can come in the form of a person or a situation. We, Christians, are destroyed by our lack of knowledge of God’s Word (Hosea 4:6). And the reason he’s able to come into our lives is because we are not reading (so we can learn), not doing (to build up our faith), and not speaking that which the Word of God says who we are, what we can do and what we can have. I want to talk about two (2) things in God’s Word that we are either not using or not using to the full (not saying or doing it every day). WE NEED JESUS!

Before the fall of Lucifer, he was perfect, beautiful, and full of wisdom. There was no other angel or creature wiser than he. And please understand — he still has that wisdom, but it is perverted, and NONE of us mere mortals can outsmart him. We, within ourselves, are easily manipulated and persuaded by him — blown to and fro by the winds of change, doctrines, ideas, and opinions. With this wisdom, though perverted, he has corrupted our world and the lives of untold billions of people who are and will be eternally lost. Troubles..........No Problem

Hello: There was a time when I wished that life would smooth and easy, free from pain, sickness, and sorrows – free from troubles. I always thought “If I could live on my own personal island, just for me, life would be as it should. I look at my kids and wish they’d never know a day of pain, sickness or lack. Children should be free to run, skip, jump, and play without “bad stuff”. I use to say “I’m never having children. Why would I want to bring a living person into this world?” The world is not always fair, kind or without heartbreak or hardships. When I was growing up, the older people would say “If you haven’t been through anything, just live awhile”. I didn’t know what they were talking about then, but now that I’m grown, have my own husband, children – my own life – I get it! Sons and Daughters

I was up late the other night; I couldn’t sleep. So I just began to thank the Lord and told Him how much I appreciate Him – you know just loved on Him. I began to listen, and I heard that we are all children of God. We were all made/birth in His image, but we are not all sons and daughters of God. He showed me this in this illustration: A billionaire father has twelve (12) children, but only four (4) were mature enough to run the family business and would truly enjoy the benefits of the inheritance the father had for the children. These four (4) walked, talked, studied and mimicked their father so they could continue and have the success their father had and had put in place for them to have. The other eight (8) didn’t put forth the time or the effort to truly learn of or from the father. They never really cultivate the relationship with the father. Two Truths

There are many things in this world that are true, and some that are false. There are many things that are right, and things that are wrong. In my thirty-seven (37) years of life, I have come to the conclusion of two definite truths – One (1) Jesus loves me (us) so very much, and two (2) the devil hates me so very much. These are true. Sometimes I think back on instances in my life, and think “It amazing that I am still alive.” But I know now that God had a plan! Jesus loves me (us) so much to the point of dying for us! Jesus died for you and me, and if you think of that in a personal way – ponder it – ‘Man, someone gave their life just me.’ Now I would probably give my life to save the lives of my children, but I a complete stranger; I’m gonna have to go with a solid no.
