As Unto the Lord!!!

Hello All:

As you all my know, I will be giving birth to a little baby boy this April. I can't wait! I can't wait to see what he will look like; for him to see me and the world. I apologize for not writing as often as I should, but I'm here to give you some encouragement as usual.

We as Christians should walk in love at all times, but that can be difficult sometimes with certain people. I am learning to do things as unto to the Lord. Do I like it? Not all the time, but it is allowing me to grow in an area that needs maturing as a child of God. Sometimes my husband will say that he will take our two (2) yr old daughter a bath, and I wind up having to do it. I use to get a little irritated when he didn't keep his word and do what he said he will do. But the enemy will use little things like this to keep strife and discord in your household, in your marriage. The Word of God tells us that it's the small foxes that spoil the vine. We all have things that just irritate us because we like for things to be a certain why, by a certain time or just doing what you said you will do. I would sometimes have to tell myself out loud "As unto the Lord" while I took my daughter a bath or go outside to feed the dogs because my husband just simply forgot, and I know he did, but the enemy will use that to keep strife in your marriage/relationship. When the Holy Spirit told me that these were "small foxes", it was alittle easier to for me to do the things my husband said he would do, and it helped my attitude a bit. It's the same thing at the job, with kids, with your family. The enemy will use those that are close to you to get your eyes off God, and that is his, the enemy's, objective. His objective is to steal your peace, take your eyes off the prize, the promises of God. So the next time someone doesn't do what they said they would do, or do something to just irritate you, then you do it as unto the Lord; you choose to walk in love. When your kids, husband, boss or co-workers are acting up, just look at them and say "small foxes". When you know what is going or what the root cause of the problem, it makes the situation a little better/easier to deal with. Remember, if you can catch yourself before you say or do something, just do it as unto the Lord, and remember "small foxes". Don't let the enemy (devil) trick you. Remember to put your armor on everyday to withstand the wilds (tricks) of the enemy.

Did you put your armor on today????
