The Power of Praise

Hello All:

Our God whom we serve is still on the throne. There is nothing or no one that can change that. We as His Children need to keep this in our hearts at all times. Today I just want to give you some encouragement; something to keep in your hearts and minds. The Word of God says that it rains on the just and and the unjust; and in this world's environment there are some who have experience this rain (some more than others). You pray God's Word and stand firm. This is what we as Christians are suppose to do. We have to remember to stay positive; only speaking God's Word concerning our situation. And we do this to the best of our ability. But some things that we have to deal with may seem like they are too hard for us; burdens to heavy to carry. But trust me when I say that God is able to see you through, and that He is always on time.

There was a point in our lives when no one was working in our household. I immediately turned to God for help. The first thing I heard was 'Are you doing all you know to do right'? I had to take the time to evaluate myself, my life. And there were some areas that I let slip; I knew better than to do some of the things I was doing. They didn't seem bad nor did they hurt anyone. But it wasn't pleasing in God's sight. I prayed and I repented, and I asked the Lord to help me with the feelings guilt, shame and failure. Yes this happened to me, and I needed reassurance. The Holy Spirit helped me with these feelings. The fear of not being able to get back on my feet scared me. But I did listen when I was in church; I knew that God had not given me a spirit of fear but of love, and of power, and of a sound mind. I had to say this over and over and over, because sometimes a situation can have such a strong hold on you that the Word of God doesn't penetrate into your heart and spirit the first time you say it. The Word of God says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God. So sometime you have to say it more than once for you to grab a strong hold of it. Trust me, I know that life can throw things at you that you think you will never get out of it. Some things come that would cause even the strongest of us to lose heart and lose the will to fight and survive. Prayer is good, and it works! Sometimes after you've asked the Father, in faith, to restore you - to pull you out of the pit, you need something extra. That extra is praise.

I've found that when things come to immediately turn to the Father in prayer. He is a good Father that knows how to give good gifts to His children. He knows the thoughts and plans He has towards you; they are thoughts of good, and not of evil to give you a hope, future an expected end. The God that we serve inhabits the praises of His people. He lovers for us to love on Him. I have this CD with songs on it that help me get in the attitude of praise and worship. Sometimes I have to listen to the CD more than once to get in spirit because of the heaviness of a situation, but I tell you when you get caught up in worshiping the Lord those weights that so easily bring me down just melt away. Alot of times we pray, but forget to praise God as though He has already done it. Because you do know that He knows what we have need of even before we ask Him - and you might say well if this is true why doesn't He be like Nike and just do it. Because we have to come to Him - the Word of God says that we have not because we ask not. When you ask someone for something you have open you mouth and let your request be made known. We do that in prayer, but going a step further; we enter into praise. I don't know if you've ever heard a song, and it moved you to tears, and all you could do is raise your hands in praise and say I love you Lord; I trust you Lord. We pray, but we forget the power of praise when the enemy brings doubt and unbelief, guilt, hurt, shame and defeat. I love this song on my praise CD that says 'I got the victory; I got the sweet, sweet victory in Jesus. For me He die, but He rose on the third. That's why I have TRUE victory everyday'. When this song comes on I get fired up in my spirit; I begin to catch a "Holy Attitude" with the devil. I have this vanity mirror in bedroom, and dance around; I point at myself in the mirror and sing I've got the victory. And we do have the victory. You can find and feel that victory in God's Word, in your prayer, and in your praise. Don't forget to praise Him. I tell you if you want to make devil tremble, start praising God; get a "Holy Attitude" with the devil. Now I know I'm not the only one who has caught an attitude someone, and that person knew I meant business. Catch one of those kinds of attitude (Holy Attitude) with the devil. And I'm telling you when you praise God like this, and you get caught in the spirit, you not only touch the heart of the Father, make the devil tremble in his boots, but that kind of praise stays with you for along time. It charges up your spiritual battery, because some things that come can wipe you completely (are seem to), but we have the Greater One on the inside of us and He is greater than he that is in this world. Get that song(s) out and play them in your house or earphones. If you have the opportunity, do a praise dance (step on the enemy's head, and put him back under your feet where he belongs). Don't forget to pray, and PLEASE don't forget the Power of Praise that we all have to the ability and the right to do as Children of the Kingdom of Heaven. No matter what - The devil loses and WE have the VICTORY in Jesus' name!

Trouble Figuring Out What to Study in the Bible

Hello All:

I know that you are blessed of the Lord this day. I know you are standing firm on His Word, for His Word is the only truth in your life. No matter what the doctor says, bill collector says, mother, father, brother, sister or friend say - whose report will you believe - we shall believe the report of the Lord this day. The doctor says that you're sick - by the stripes of Jesus you were healed; therefore, you are healed right now. Bill collector says you haven't paid your bill - but my God shall supply (is supplying) ALL of my needs according to HIS RICHES in glory through Christ Jesus. Family and friends say that it looks like you're going under - but you are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus; because Jesus is for you nothing and no one can successfully be against; the Greater One lives on the inside of you and He is greater than he that is in this world; no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against you in judgement you shall condemn; this is the heritage of the servant of the Most High God, and your righteousness is of Him. This is the Word of the Lord. But if you don't study His Word, then you will not know these things. If you do not study His Word, then it will not be ever ready even in your mouth.

I will always encourage you to study the Word of God. Trust me, in this day and hour, you will need His Word ever ready to be spoken out of your mouth concerning your situation(s). When we were little, just starting out in our walk with God, our mom use to make us ready something out of the Bible, and then make us explain what we read. If we didn't quite understand the passage we chose, she would help us understand but we had to pick out something out of the Bible to read. It can sometimes be hard to figure out what you should be studying in the Word of God. If there isn't a specific situation going in your life, you might say 'I want to read the Word of God, but I have no idea what I should read or even where I should begin'. If you should find yourself in this situation, here's a good idea you can use. I use this myself from time to time.

We all have things in our life that are important to us, but they are not pressing (meaning it doesn't necessarily need to be done or dealt with right away), but is something that you would like to improve on or just to gain more knowledge on a subject. Should you find yourself not knowing what to study or where to begin, begin by making a list of things you would like to improve on, and those things that you would like to gain more knowledge on concerning the things of God. The Bible is the Christian's handbook of life; so why not use it seek the improvement(s) or knowledge we desire. Search the Word of God concerning those things that are important to you. Some of the things on my list included marriage, my attitude, end times, and salvation. Salvation is one of the most important things I studied; gaining the knowledge of the scriptures. This allowed me to speak His Word concerning the salvation of my family; no matter what it looks or sounds like; I have on the inside of me what my Father has to say concerning my family's salvation. I don't need all the cars and houses and the jewelry (not that I don't want them); I'd rather have all of my family saved and on their way to Heaven than all the riches and material things of this world. When we are gone from this world, we will not be able to take any of those things with us - they will be no use to us. But when we pass from this world, knowing that we are saved, sanctified and set apart for His Kingdom - there is not greater peace you and for those that are still living when we are gone.

As I have said so many times for before, and it's not just for you - it's for me too; get in the Word of God for yourself. You have to know the Word of God for YOU! You have to know His Word and believe that His Word will work for you. But if you do not study His Word, then you will know His Word. How can you believe in something that you won't even take the time to understand? I can pray for you and your pastor or friend can pray for you, but you have to pray and believe that God can do it for you; it's your thing; it's something that you want. Seek God's Word concerning it; grab a hold of it; get it in your spirit and stand firm and see the salvation of your God. God is faithful and just to perform HIS WORD, which means you have to know His Word, and in order to know His Word, you have to study it. I'll go one step further. In addition to studying it, knowing it and praying it, you must also believe that He can and will do it for you. He is no respecter of persons (meaning if He does it for one person, He can and will do the same for you. Make a list today, and enjoy your journey in discovering what your God has promised you, and what He can and will do for you.

It Could Be Worse

Hello All:

Well, it's certainly be awhile since you've heard from me, and for those who have continue to look for me - well here I am. Late July, my husband and I decided to have another child, and we found out early August that we are pregnant - Yeah!!! But let me tell ya, this pregnancy had not been kind to me. I have headaches, nausea, overwhelming tiredness, and dizziness; everything I eat seems to make me sick, but thank God that it has eased up a bit. My first pregnancy was wonderful; I did not experience any symptoms really - alittle dizziness here and there. It was wonderful; I was pregnancy and happy; Life was wonderful.

I have been murmuring and complaining about this pregnancy because it has not been like the first one. Still one day, I read an article (I'm always searching for pregnancy stuff) that stated that some women have not only the symptoms I mentioned, but vomiting all throughout their pregnancy. Now, I haven't experience the vomiting, only the nausea. Then I began to realize that I don't have it so bad. The symptoms weren't more than I could handle - I could deal with it; I just didn't want to have to deal with it. I start to think 'It Could Be Worse'. Somewhere some woman has had it far worst than I have, and here I am complaining. I thank God that those are the only symptoms that I had to experience. Then I been to ponder on this awhile. I was complaining to my husband about him leaving his workout clothes in the living (never mind that there is an adorable little girl that wants his undivided attention as soon as he enters the house). I began to think about that too...... I began to think that I could be worse. I could have an mentally and/or physically abusive husband. I could have a husband that never helped me around the house or appreciated the things I do for this family. But you know what, I do have those things - It's not as bad as it seems to be. It could also be worse if I didn't have Jesus in my life. Those things that he (husband), as well as myself, needs to work on; I can call those things to be not as though they are; I have that authority as a child of God. But we some times fail to remember who we are and whose we are. We fail to remember that weeping my endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. If you have Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, it's not as bad as it seems - it could be worse. You could not have any authority to call those things to be not as though they are; or speak healing to yourself and love ones. It could be worse; you could not know that you are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus; or that you are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loves; or that the greater One lives in you and that He is greater than he that is in this world; or that God is for you and that no one and nothing can successfully be against you. Oh, I could go on and on. For a moment, the enemy had me speaking and thinking things contrary to what God has to say concerning my situation - only for a moment. I thank God that I have ears to hear what the Spirit of God would have to say (Listen, He's always speaking).

If Jesus is Lord of your life and things seems bad going worse, remember that with Him even those things that seem impossible are possible to those who can believe. He is faithful and just to perform his Word. Stand on His Word; Speak it out of your mouth so that you can hear yourself say His Word; Say it everyday until you get it down in your spirit. Everyday I pray that as for me and my household; we will serve that Lord. No matter what it looks like; no matter what is said or done. I have made up my mind; I have settled it in my heart that I will not give up on my family's salvation. If one in the household be saved, then the whole household is save. These are not my words but my Fathers.

I could be worse, but because we have Jesus, it IS getting better. As a matter of fact, it IS BETTER. Speak your faith and not your fears. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love and of power and of a sound mind.

Encourage Someone Today!

Good Morning:

The Living Water Today speaks of Hebrew 10:25 - Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near. Our Lord Jesus is coming soon! He will be returning for those that belong to him sooner than we all realize. This is why we must encourage as many as we can in the Lord. It is so true. Things are going on that can make life tough. Surround yourself with those that can encourage you, build you up in the Lord; or be an encouragement to others. Surround yourself with those that can help you grow in the Lord. You will need it more now more than ever. You will need to be able to pull the Word of God out of your spirit and immediately speak God's Word concerning a situation. There may not always be a Bible around or someone that knows the Word. You will have to know it for yourself; you will need to have the Word of God on the inside of you ever ready to be spoken out of your mouth. Boldly speak God's Word and not your fears. The things that are going on around us are temporal; they are subject to change, and can change when we earnestly seek the Lord's help. He is the only one that can sustain us. So encourage someone in the Lord today!

I love you and so does God! He will never leave you nor forsake you - only believe!

Have you been putting your armor on everyday???? The enemy is pulling out all the stops; be prepared for those attacks by being fully armed in the Lord! Be armed in the Lord so that you will be able to stand in the evil day; it's here and this is only the beginning! So trust in the Lord and lean not to your own understanding. In all your way acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path!

Strong Family Ties!

Hello All:

I know that we are all keeping our eyes on the Lord, for this is where our help comes from. He supplies all of our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He is our only source. I know that we are all experiencing the "pinch" at the pumps and increasing grocery cost, but we must all keep our faith/hope in the Lord. We must also use this time to grow closer together with our family.

If we allow it, these stuff economic times can put a strain on our bank accounts as well as our family (marriage relationship). Not only should we be thanking God that He supplies all our needs, but we should do our part in being smart about our spending during these times. Now is not the time to do "unnecessary shopping/unplanned shopping". We can't go out and spend money unnecessarily and expect God to magically fill our bank accounts. We have to be smart in our spending of money. We should sit down and make a list of things that are needed for the house, personal items and/or things for kids activities - and stick with the list. Husbands and wives should take this opportunity to do this together. Not only does in keep a control on the spending, but it will also keep the lines of communication open. Have you ever been where after you've asked each other "How was day?" that there's nothing else to talk about? This should not be in our marriages. We as Christians should have the best marriages, but in some cases we don't. Most cases you have two people in a marriage that are just doing their own thing and are not interacting with their spouse the way that they should. Quality time is just a "good idea" in some marriages. And with the increase in the price of just about everything (money issues), can paralyze an already crippled relationship. We should take this opportunity to sit down together and talk about how and what the money will be spent on. Set a time to go together as a family to purchase the things you've made on your list. Just in doing this, you've spent quality time together, you've talked with each other, and you're not just doing something for you - you've taken the time to do something that will benefit the entire family.

Everyday, not just sometimes, you should take the time to say something nice to the other. It doesn't matter if it's about a piece of clothing or about something they've done around the house, but you must say something nice to each other everyday. Even if you have to set an alarm in your cell phone everyday as a reminder, then do it. Eventually, you will remember to do it, and then in remembering to do it; you just begin to do it everyday. Marriage is work! And both parties have to "work" at it for it to work! Try to hold your tongue; the bad things you want to say but don't really mean. Encourage and build each other up with kind words and good deeds. Go out of your way to make your husband or wife feel special everyday. You could cook a favorite dish; or husbands, you go wash the car or have it washed. Either way, no matter what you do, you've done something to let the other know you were thinking about them. It will go along way in your relationship. Make sure you know how to recognise when your spouse does something, and thank them. So many times we take for granted what our spouse does for us. It can make them feel unappreciated, and look for appreciation elsewhere, and we don't want that. You'll have a better relationship for having done so. Remember to love each other and speak kind words of love everyday.

Choose Life So You May Live

Today is my birth day (birthday). I am thirty-two (32) years old today. I am very thankful to have the life that I have. It is a very blessed life. God has given me the authority to speak blessing in, over and around my life. God is so good. He has equipped you and I to live this life that we have been given. Life is precious, and God wants and has given us the tool to succeed in this life. Is my life perfect, absolutely not; but my life is good. I have a good husband who loves me very much and would do just about anything for me. I have a beautiful daughter and hopefully a handsome son will follow. I am surrounded by loving family and friends. I have a Lord over my life that has provided everything I’ll ever need, and sent His son, Jesus, to die for me so that I may live a happy, healthy and prosperous life in Him.

He has given us His Word to stand on and to speak in, over and around our lives. We have to make the choice to choose life and not death. We have to choose to speak blessing and not cursing in, over around our lives, our spouse life and child(ren) life(vies). Today life and death are set before us; the Word of God tells us what to choose; we are to choose life so that we may live. God knows the thoughts and plans He has towards us; they are thoughts of good and not of evil to give us a hope, a future, an expected end. No matter what awful thing is going on in your life, God is still on the throne. If He is Lord over your life, then things will get better. Roll the care of the situation, the care of that person over on the Lord for He cares for you, and desires to see you happy. He will lead, guide and direct you in what it is you need to do concerning the matter or person that is generating the "care/anxiety/trouble/worry". If you haven't been speaking God's Word over your situation, then start speaking life to your situation. Start saying what the Word of God says concerning the matter. If you don't know what to speak, well this is a fine opportunity for you to get in the Word. Search out the scriptures; talk to God. Talking to God is good because sometimes you can't say what you need to say to the "other person" without causing an argument - take your matter to God. I am still learning to take my matters to God when dealing with my husband on certain issues (still learning this; this mouth use to get the better of me). I am speaking my faith when I say this; I'll continue to speak faith concerning taking things to God and not to my husband until I've get it! This is speaking life to your situation - continue, without wavering, to speak what God says. God says I've got it - I always take the matter to God when it's a touchy issue with my husband. God directs me in how to approach the situation. He will do this for us because He cares for us. He wants His kids to have the best life. After all, the King's Kids should have the best life - and we will. He has given us authority to take control of our situations by speaking His Word. So begin to say what God says and have a wonderful life! CHOOSE LIFE TODAY!!!

Tell Somebody!

Good Morning and Praise be unto our Lord who along is worthy to be praised! The Lord is good all the time. I am so thankful this morning that I know His voice and voice of a stranger I'll not follow. Do you truly know and understand how good God is? Let this be what you think on today!

I can not stress to you how important it is that we begin to get our lives in order for the Lord Jesus' return. I want to explain to you that it's not enough that you've said the sinner's prayer. Yes, it's part of it, but it's not the only thing that you'll need to do. Some will say the sinner's prayer and think that they are set to make it into heaven. Or they might attend church everytime the doors are open, and thing this will get them into heaven. But it's not enough. You can not say the sinner's prayer and live anyway you want to, no that will not work! You have to make the choice each day when you wake up to live for Him, to serve Him. Don't put off what you can do today tomorrow; this is the Word of God. Don't put off your getting right with the Lord today tomorrow. Tomorrow is not promised to any one of us. We could pass on or the Lord could very well return. Look at the signs of the time; take the time to look at the things that are going on all around us in this world. And each day that passes is a day closer to His return. But He will not return until everyone in the world has had an opportunity to make Him Lord of their life. It's only fair! Everyone will have an opportunity to hear the "Good News" and will have the choice to make Him Lord over all their life. Begin to tell somebody about the Lord. You go out into your Samaria and Judea (your neighbor/community/city/town) and preach the gospel. Continue or begin to tell those loved ones that are going down the wrong path. Notify, inform somebody about the Lord. Someone told you........ Some people will only see the Jesus that's in you; share that with others. Let them know that it is good the serve the Lord. Don't be ashamed of Jesus, and He'll not be ashamed of you. Don't allow any one's blood to be on your hands. Tell them while there's still time to find the Lord. Don't let your opportunity to share Jesus with somebody pass you by. Be bold and tell somebody!!!!!!

God's People are Destroyed Because of Lack of Knowledge

Good Morning:

I will be brief. I am not sure if you are familiar with the Jack Van Impe Ministries, but he has a new video (Global ID: 666). that you might find extremely interesting. It's concerning the government trying to have our state driver's license imprinted with a chip so that we can be tracked wherever we go. If you know anything thing about the end time, then you know what this means. The gov't put the finishing touches on the regulation for the "Real ID" at the beginning of this year. If this doesn't light a fire underneath you to get about the things of God then I don't know what will. As I've said before, God and devil are real; so are heaven and hell. You choose this day whom you will serve and where you will serve eternity. Be blessed and well informed. Pass it on!

It is very important that you get in the Word of God for yourself; and when there are tapes/CDs, books and magazines, the Internet, then use those tools to educate yourself about the things of God. there's no way we can say that we didn't have the opportunity or the means to know about the things of God. You can read the Bible on the Internet. Jesus is coming back, and He's coming back for those who belong to Him. It's time to get serious about the things of God. Before you know it, the time of Jesus' return will be upon us. Don't be amongst those that will be left behind. So prepare now. Make sure your lamp is full of oil; don't be lacking when He returns.

God is Speaking - July 20, 2006

I am so glad to be back (this is my faith speaking..............LOL). The Living Word is so right. God is always speaking, but are we always listening...................... I pray I am always tuned into what God is saying (this is my faith speaking); I am calling those things to be not as though they are. There's a scripture in the Bible that states 'My sheep know my voice, and a voice of a stranger they'll not follow'. We can confess our faith that we know His voice and any other voice we'll not follow. There's the voice of God, the voice of self, voice of fear, and voice of demons. One way I know that it is God speaking to me is that it lines up with His Word. There's was a lady in this area a while back that stated that God told her to kill her grandchildren. Now, do you believe this was the voice of God???? No! His Word says 'Thou shalt not kill'. This does not line up with His Word, so this woman should have known, if she's a true child of God, that this was not God speaking to her. If a voice is telling you to be rude, ugly, to do harm to someone, it's not God. Alot of times we are not listening to the Voice of the Lord (ouch hallelujah!). I am speaking to myself first. But with the confession that I know my Father's voice, and a voice of a stranger I'll not follow will help me to remember to first evaluate the voice (or thought), and figure out who is generating that voice/thought. Is it me; is it God or is it some other outside force.

Our Heavenly Home

Hello:

Jesus is still on the throne. He is seated at the right hand of the Father ever making intercession for us. Jesus is for us; and if He is for us, there is nothing and no one who can successfully be against us. I am so glad that I belong to Him, aren't you. Bless it be the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

John 14:3 says that when everything is ready, our Lord will come get us so that we may be with Him wherever He is. How do we prepare to be ready when He comes to get us? We must confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord over our lives, and believe in our hearts that He died on the cross for our sins, and that He arose on that third day. This the beginning. We just celebrated the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. We must also not forsake the assembling of ourselves as we see the day of the Lord approaching. Everyday that goes by is a day closer to the Lord's return. We must not forsake the assembling, going to church, as this is what the Word of God commands, and this helps us to increase in our faith and maturity level in Christ. When Jesus returns, He will look to see if He finds faith. My sister was saying this morning in church that this world is not our home; we have a heavenly home. She's right! This isn't our home; we have a heavenly home with our Father God. We should not be pursuing the things of this world, but we should seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto to us. It's not that God doesn't want us to enjoy things of the earth; He has given everything in the earth to us anyway. He is a good Father that gives good gifts unto His children.

Believe it or not, there is a heaven and a hell. There is a God and a satan. Choose you this day whom you will serve. Jesus is coming back for those who belong to Him. I would rather serve God, even if I wasn't sure. Some say 'There is no God' - but what if there is? What if all of this is really true? Would you take the chance of being left behind? I know that there is heaven and a hell; a God and a devil. I know this. I have made up my mind to serve the Lord. I have a better quality of life than when I was in the world. This is enough for me. But I also know that Jesus died for me. He bore sickness and disease for me; He went to hell for me. He did all of these things for me. The least I can do is to serve Him, to love Him. There's a better quality of life for us who serve Him. I urge you this day to get your life right with God. I'll keep saying this until I'm raptured up to be with Him. I'll keep reminding you that Jesus is coming, and He's coming soon. I wish not for you to be reading this after He has come and gone, and say to yourself 'Why didn't I listen; Why didn't I take the time to prepare myself to go my Heavenly Home'. There will be some in the church who will be saying those very things because they chose to "play church". They did not get serious about the things of God. It's sad to say that they to will be left behind. Please do not delay in this matter! It is imperative that you get it right and get it right right now! Jesus is coming...........................He's coming soon. Are you on your way to your heavenly home?

Thus Said The Lord!

I love each and every one of you. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Continue to fight the good fight of faith. Remember in all you do acknowledge Him, and he will direct your path. We are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus who lives us. We are more than conquerors in Him who loves us. We win! Don't let anyone or your circumstances tell you that God isn't real. He's the reason we are still standing; He'd the reason we're still here. Some say or our circumstances would seem to suggest that we give up and die. Today has been set before us life and death; we have chosen life that we might live in Him. We have made the chose to say what He says concerning our situation. He says that His mercies are new every morning and His grace is sufficient for us; He says that He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus; He says that whatever we set our hands to prosper; He says that we are the healed; He says that we have been made rich in Him; He says that we can have the desires of our hearts; He says that if we can believe, then all things are possible to him that believe; He says that we can speak to mountains in our lives (debt, sickness, whatever) and it shall be remove; He says that no weapon formed against us shall prosper; He says that greater is He that is in us than he that is in this world; He says that because He is for us that no one and nothing can successfully be against us; He says that whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven, whatever we loose on earth is loose in heaven; He says that we are victorious; therefore we win!

Test & Trials Happen To Us All

Hello Hello:

I know the thoughts and the plans the Lord has towards me; they are thoughts of good and not of evil - to give me a hope, a future, an expected end. The Living Water a few days ago talked about our faith being tested. It listed the scripture James 1:3 which states 'When your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. It also listed Romans 5:3 states 'We know that the {trials} are good for us, they help us learn to endure. Our faith is tested on a daily basis. It's tested on our jobs, in our marriages/relationships, in our relationships with our children, in what we believe who we are, what we can do, and what we can have in Christ Jesus on this earth.

James talks about trials being good for us, and they are. I can say that without a funny look on my face. Trials help us to grow; and anything and everything that we go through, we should learn something - of ourselves and of what we can do. James 1:2 says that we should count it all joy when we fall into various trials. And you know what, I have learn to turn to God fo my strength when I see trouble on the horizon. I now look for what the Lord is trying to show me. I've learned to praise God even in the mist of my storm(s), and I praise Him often. When we go through trials, we should approach it with the right attitude and ask God for wisdom. If you lack wisdom, you should ask of God who gives to all men liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. When you are in your trial, whether someone has said something to you or has done something to you or if a bad situtation arises, turn to God. He will help you endure; He will help you to approach the situation with the right attitude. he will help you to be able to count it all joy when he trial comes. God's thoughts towards you are good - no matter what others think. God wants you to succeed. Turn to God, and He will help you run the race that is before. Every service we sing a song that says 'We on this crazy road called life......We are running the ultimate race right now. No turning back, we're gonna live it loud - gonna live out our destiny and Jesus, I look to you and run our ultimate race.' Look to Him; In Him lies your victory!

A Little Word Everyday!

Hello Again!

I just want to encourage you to read the Word of God everyday. Even if it's just a little bit. I know that we all are very busy with work, spouse, children, and different activities, but it is very important for us all to read the Word of God everyday. Even if you have those inspirational calendars with a scripture on it or maybe you receive inspirational email with a scripture. It is important. The Word of God is where we draw our strength from. It is what gives us hope. It like spinach to Popeye. It gives us strength to fight against the enemy. The devil wants you to fail; he wants you to bound down with the cares of this world. God has given us everything we will need in His Word to live a healthy, prosperous and happy life here on this earth.

I receive the Living Water everyday. It's gives you scripture(s), and inspiration to uplift you and build you up in your most holy faith in God. It only takes a few minute to read, and I can read it when ever I want to or have the opportunity. The Word of God protects you in all your ways. There is a hedge of protection about you. Sometimes I open up the Living Water email, and it is exactly what I need to remind me of what my God can do. There is so much going on in our lives and all around us. It is easy to get your mind off the things of God. When you haven't had your daily dose of God, you become weak and an easy target for the enemy. Just think if you went on for days, months (God forbid years) without reading His Word. Do you know how vunerable that makes you? You would be easy pickings for the enemy; it would be easy to fall into temptations. It would be hard for you to resist the devil and have him flee from you. It would be hard for you to hear the voice of the Father when He says "Don't do that!" or "Don't go there!". The Word of God gives us wisdom in our everyday lives. So it is important to read the Word of God everyday, even if it's just a little bit.

God is Good All the Time

Hello:

Jesus is still on the throne, and is seated at the right hand of the Father ever making intercession for you and for me. Not only is He seated at the right hand of the Father, but we are seated in Him far above the forces of the enemy. We WIN! We are VICTORIOUS in every area of our lives. I truly believe that! I am more than a conqueror in HIM through Christ Jesus.

I just want to update all of you about the situation concerning my car. Well as I've told you before - the Word of God will work for you if you work the Word. We have got to speak the Word of God concerning our situations. There is something in the Word of God concerning every situation we could ever face. AnyWho, God showed up and He showed out on my behalf. Now, some might say 'Oh, that was just luck' or 'That could have happend for anybody'. What that person doesn't know is that I specifically asked God to do what He did. I prayed first for a peaceful process and that He would turn this, which the enemy tried to use for harm, to turn it around for my good. See, the enemy thought that he had me; he thought he finally found something that would make that "old girl" come out again. But I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. I have been transformed by the the renewing of mind with God's Word. Old things have past away behold ALL things are new with me. That girl that I use to be no longer resides here. I knew it would depend upon my attitude during this process that would determine my success or failure; my defeat or my victory. Since I am the righteousness in God through Christ Jesus, there is no way possible that I could lose. My God that I serve is always for me; therefore, no one and nothing can successfully be against me. Not only did I get a bigger, newer vehicle, but it also had lower mileage than the G6. It's also easier to get Angelina in and out of. I had a 2006 Pontiac G6 GT, and now I have a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer. Not only that, but the interest rate was way better than I expected. Never in a million years would I have thought that I would qualify for this good of a rate. But you know what, no I couldn't get that kind of a rate, but God can. I give Him all of the honor and all of the glory. He alone is worthy of my praise, and I will praise Him until there is no breath left in this body - even when that happens - I will continuously praising Him in heaven.

Remember, God is for you. If you are a child of the Most High God, then He is for you, and when He's for you no one and nothing can successfully be against you. It's all in what you say concerning your situation and what you believe God can do for you. He is still in the business of doing miracles. Only He can do the IMPOSSIBLE.

It's A New Day, A New Year, A New Season

Good Morning!

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!! I know that many of you have made "new year resolutions" and have vowed to stick to them this time. I pray God that you have made the choice to continue in Him this year as well. Not only to continue in Him, but to mature and grow in Him - to trust Him this year. We are going to have to trust the Lord like never before. We are going to have to trust that the thoughts and plans that the Lord has towards us are thoughts of good/peace and not of evil. We are going to have to know who we are as the children of God and walk it out. We are the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. I pray that in your making of resolutions this year that you have stop playing and get about the things of God. The enemy is busy; he is working to get our eyes off of the Lord. We have to remain sharp in the things of God. Things are happening all around us not only personally, corporately, but worldwide. People are killing each other like never before. There's an economic crisis on the horizon. There are so many scams in this world (though shalt not steal). There are wars and rumors of wars. This is enough to make some afraid. But God has not given us a spirit of fear but of love and of power and a sound mind.

Most of you know that I have a GM Pontiac G6 GT. I loved this car; I was cute in this very cute car. There was a GM recall on the vehicle for the sunroof drainage hose - it could have been misrouted and need check and/or fix. Being a good customer, I brought the car so that further damage would not be done to the car. Well lo-and-behold, there is mold all in my car. Friday, December 28th 2007, my family was going out on a shopping trip, and this is when we discovered the problem. Took the car to the dealership - the service people were trying their best to get us out of there. I told them what the problem was, and they ran in the back without even trying to see what the problem was. I stood there and stood there. My husband waited for someone to come outside to see what and where the problems are. To make the story short, we talked to the sales manager, really nice guy, and he heard us out and looked at the car. Now, this whole situation had me sick to my stomach - I mean I had literally gotten sick. This is not a new pair of shoes, or a new book I bought, but this is a new car. This is one of the biggest purchases people make in their lives. As most of you know, I have a beautiful little girl, Angelina. She is by far the most important thing in my life right now. As her mother, I need to protect her. Mold and anyone child should not be mentioned in the same sentence. It should be against the law. I emailed the manager of the dealership we purchased the car from and told him that the only way I would truly be satisfied is by getting a new car. My husband called GM, and we told them the same thing. Now, this situation had gotten me bent out of shape in the beginning. I not going to tell you that I was strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Yes, I should have been, but I wasn't. But I am glad I know the voice of my Father, and the voice of a stranger I'll not follow. I repented and asked the Lord to give peace - the peace that only He can give; the peace that surpasses all understanding. You know when you do everything right - pay my car note on time; I brought the car in to rectify the recall problem - and you still have problem. The enemy was get me to fret; he was trying to get me to doubt; he was trying to make me take my eyes off of the Lord. For a moment I did, but I repented. The new year was coming, a new season was beginning, and chaos was all around. But though the storm was raging all around me, though that God wasn't there - He was with me all the time. He had not left me for He will never leave me nor forsake me. Everything that the devil has meant for my harm in this situation; the Lord will turn it around for my good. I shall come forth as pure gold. One thing that always give me comfort is that the Lord knows my beginning and my end, and all the between. He already knew that this was going to happen. God is for Shan, and nothing or no one can successfully be against me. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against me in judgement I shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Most High, and that's me, Shan, said the Lord.

This year we are not only need to know what the Word of God says, but we will have to believe. We will have to really watch what we say concerning our situations. I believe God that I will get a new car. I didn't buy a water damage car; we have not been spending our hard-earned money on a water damaged car. I choose to believe that God has already taken care of this situation. I have rolled this care on the Lord for He is the one that cares for me.

Remember this year to put your armor on each and everyday. The enemy is shooting his fiery dart, and if you don't the armor on God on (Ephesian 6) you will be allowing the enemy to hit you on all sides.
