Guardian Angels

Well this is going to be a blessed day in the Lord! Keys locked in the truck; can't take my daughter to school. Oh but Jesus is still on the Throne, and He alone is worthy of my praise. Devil you still LOSE! HA! Sometimes you just got to laugh in the devil's face, and let him know that he can not steal your joy! For this is the day the Lord has made, and I have already made the choice to rejoice and be glad in it. Many of you may know, my family and I moved from Louisiana to Maryland, and we drove with three (3) kids and two (2) dogs - yeah, it was a "fun" drive. I must say this was the most nerve-racking drive I have ever made. It's not because of the kids or the dogs as you may be thinking, but because we had a trailer attached to our Chevy Trailblazer. The guy at the Uhaul said "You'll never know it's back there." Well that guy didn't know what he was talking about, and we did more than just feel it. We fought that trailer the whole way to Maryland. It was so bad that my husband wouldn't let me help him drive; bless his heart, he drove the whole way. Thank you Father for blessing me with an AWESOME husband! What really made this drive so horrible was that the trailer was causing us to cross over into the other driving lanes. Of course this was a huge problem; I mean there was precious cargo in that truck, and my husband and children were there too ; ). But all I could do was pray in the Spirit. I pleaded the Blood of Jesus over the truck and trailer and over our path to our destination. But while praying in the Sprirt, I heard "Guardian Angels". Oh, Oh, Oh Psalms 91 10, 11 (AMP): There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. I immediately told MY angels God has given especial charge of me and my family to get on their posts around us; we all have our individual angel - I believe we have more than one - in my family's case there were at least five (5) angels around that truck and trail. They were defending us against the evil of "car wreck" that was trying to befall us. Oh, oh, oh, but God! So many times we do not acknowledge that we even have angels. I use to acknowledge and put our angels on their posts around us all (on our way to work, school or to the store) the time, but as you know we sometimes get lax in our confessions - Ouch Hallelujah! But that's the thing, we have to be consistent in what we way say. We'll confess a thing for a while, then we'll get off of it. But something like commanding our angels to protect us and pleading the very Blood of Jesus over us, our paths, dwelling placing (home, work etc), we should do on a DAILY basis. When you know better, then you'll do better; and if you didn't know, well now you know. It is AWESOME to be a child of God. I know that the Word of God works when I work it! Put your angel(s) on their posts. Give them something do! I know some are probably saying 'Well God gives the command to the angels accompany and defend us, but should we not be saying what God is saying??? At least thank the Father for giving the angels especial charge over you - acknowledge this; acknowledge that they are there! I know that someone out there is going to get "technical" - so there! Did you put your armor???? Be Encouraged Today!!!! Remember there is a sinner's prayer on this site. If you have backslid or know someone that has not made the choice to make Jesus, Lord and Savior, then say this prayer. You do not have to be at a church alter to receive Jesus as Lord. Don't put this off thinking "I have time to make this decision" or "I'll make Jesus Lord when I get my life straight". Do not put this off for tomorrow may be too late. I don't think we have much time to make this choice. I know it sound too fantastical to be true - that Jesus is returning in the clouds - but there is a moment that will happened in a twinkling of an eye - as fast as you can blink. Daily Confessions Continued!

Well praise the Lord! Jesus is Alive, and He is seated at the right hand of God. I have Jesus as Lord and Savior; therefore, I have the Victory! I didn't realize how many confessions I made until I decided to share them with you .... Whew! I will be posting one more daily confessions post, and we should be finished. Well now after thanking and praising God for all He is doing in, through and for me and my family, I proceed as follows: Lord, I thank You for the authority You have given me as a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, a daughter of the Most High. I thank You for the authority over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, the beast of the fields and the fowls of the air (Gen. 1:26). So every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, the beast of the fields and the fowls of th air, you have no place or authority in my home, and I command you to stay out! I plead the Blood of Jesus over my home, inside and out. There's power of protection in the Blood from the creeping things, beast of the fields and fowls of the air. I plead the Blood Jesus over all my property, inside and out. I thank you Lord that you are no respecter or persons (Act 10:34), and just like with the Children of Israel, you are preserving the Pirozzi's belonging (Joshua 24:17). I plead the Blood of Jesus over the grounds that my home sets on; and if anyone or anything sets a foot or a paw on the grounds with the intention to steal, kill or destroy or to cause hurt or harm, the Blood will cause them to have a change of heart in Jesus' name! Lord, I thank You for the authority to call those things to be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). I thank You that every member of family is saved, sanctified and set apart for Your Kingdom. We seek first Your Kingdom and ALL righteousness, all things are added to us. We are the righteousness in God through Christ Jesus. We are the head and not the tail. We are on top and not beneath. We know that the trials going on in our lives are temperal; they are subject to change - and change for the better. I thank You that we are blessed and can not be cursed. I thank You Lord that All of our needs are supplied - we lack NOTHING! I thank You Lord that we are debt free - owing no man anything but love. We are highly favored of God. Favor surrounds us as a shield. It goes before me and after us. Surely, goodness and mercy are following us all the days of our lives, and we will dwell with You forever and ever. Amen and amen! I will leave it here, and finish it up next week. Oh how Jesus loves you and me! Time is ticking! If you haven't made the choice to make Jesus Your Lord and want to, then do it NOW! Our Daily Bread

Well Praise the Lord! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me. If you don’t know by now my husband, Aaron, got a job – Praise God- all the way in Maryland. He has been gone since the end of May. So I’ve been here with the kids and the packing. Well, I was hoping that we’d be up there by now; housing is so expensive up there and we have dogs too – so there have been issues. Though that might be so, where God guides He also provides (I have been reminding myself of this), and there is nothing impossible with God. I am a serious planner; I expect for things to go according to plan. It doesn’t have to go exactly the way I want it, but the results should be the same and accomplish around the same time. Well it has not gone according to my plan, and to be honest, I have been out of sorts. I have been up and down, and sometimes under “down”. When I was down, I would always get "up" with prayer and encouragement from my mom/pastor. I have “bent” her ear more than I’d like to admit, but I am thankful she was there willing to listen and correct my wrong thinking. I know it’s the result on lack of fellowship with God and lack of sleep. I am here with my five (5), three (3) year old and the 10 month old. I have cried the tears of exhaustion more than I’d like to admit too. Oh, but weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). If I didn’t continue to pray – no matter how little it was – I could have gotten myself caught up in something I didn’t need to. The enemy doesn’t strike when you are strong; he comes when you are at your lowest. I turned off my phone, computer and would have turned off the TV if it hadn’t been for the kids. But while they played, I listened to some Word on my MP3 – my spirit was near starving. Times of refreshing comes from being in the presence of the Lord. I was thinking to myself‘Give us this day our daily bread.’ Now this is not something I pray all the time, but have heard throughout my walk with Christ – but you better believe it’s about to become part of my daily confessions from now own. I don’t plan for a day only, but try to plan out as far ahead as I can. But the Word of God clearly tells us not the worry about tomorrow. Matthew 6: 30-34 states: 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? 32 For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. 33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things, taken together, will be given you besides. 34 So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. And furthermore, we have no clue what tomorrow may hold; and therefore, have no control over it. Now I’m not saying not to plan; having a plan is a good thing. Proverbs 19:21 states: Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. And we should want the Lord’s purpose to prevail over our plans; though I can make a really good plan – kidding smile! It is when our plans don't go as expected, and we lose our hope – the foundation of our Faith, and that’s a bad thing to happen. For where there’s no Faith, there is fear; where fear is Faith cannot operate. Without Faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). I have been confessing that I fight the good fight of Faith, and I WIN! I begin thanking God for my daily bread – everything I will need to be successful for the day. You can and should do the same. He is the supplier of ALL our needs, and He will give us what we “need” for the day – whether it’s rest, peace, healing, strength – whatever – He will give it to you. We have not because we ask not; Luke 11:10 states: For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. If you don’t ask for your daily bread for the day, then you won’t receive it. Remember there's a sinner's prayer on this site. How I Start My Daily Confessions

Well praise the Lord! I want to wish my wonderful husband, Aaron, a Happy Birthday! He is a wonderful husband, and I love him very much. Well, if you haven’t heard by now, my family and I are moving to Maryland/Virginia – we are still looking. But I will be blogging very soon on how God came through for us, and how standing on God’s Word helped me through. I want to finish on my confessions. Last month I wrote about how I put on my armor. Today, I would like to share how I begin my confession. It goes alittle something like this…………. Lord, I thank you for this day. For this is the day that you have made, and I am making the choice, right now, to rejoice and be glad in it. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins; those things that are known and unknown; those things done in deed, word or thought. Lord, I thank you for Your mercies that are new every morning towards me and my family, and Your grace that is sufficient for us. It is that grace that You’ve extended towards me and my family, and our accepting and receiving of You and Your Son and what You done through faith that we are saved. I thank you that my family and I are saved, sanctified and set apart for Your Kingdom. As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord all the days of our lives. Because there is one in my household that is saved, my entire household is saved right now in Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit stay on me; Lord correct me. I thank You Father, that I do as Jesus did, say what He said, and even think the way Jesus thought. I thank You that I look like Jesus more and more each and every day. I thank You that when my husband, my children and others see me they see Jesus. I thank You that I am winning my husband, my children and others by my way of life. I thank You that salvation has come unto the Pirozzi household, and that every member has accepted and received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We belong to You, and You belong to us. You are our God, and we are Your people. You are our Father, and we are Your sons and daughters. I thank You that You are Jehovah Shalom, the Lord God that is the Pirozzi’s peace. You are El Shaddai, the Lord God who is more than enough for the Pirozzi’s. You are Jehovah Jirah the Lord God that provides for us Pirozzi’s. You are supplying ALL of the Pirozzi’s needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. You are our Sheppard, and we lack NOTHING! You are our good God that gives good gifts unto the Pirozzi’s. You even give us the desires of our hearts. You are our ONLY source of supply. We will continue to look unto the hills which comes our help; our help comes from You, Lord – the Maker of Heaven and of Earth. You are still in the business of performing miracles and are performing them on the Pirozzi’s behalf each day! There is nothing we will ever go through, that You cannot bring us through Victoriously! There is nothing we will ever need that You can’t supply. There is nowhere we can go where Your loving hand can’t reach us. You are doing the impossible for the Pirozzi’s because we believe that You can. We are debt free in Jesus’ name. We owe no man anything but to love them. Whom the Son has set free is free indeed, and we Pirozzi’s are free! I know I heard You say victory in Jesus’ name, and I thank You for the manifestation of our Victory! You have made us Pirozzi’s more than conquerors in Jesus’ name. You are the Greater One, and You live big on the inside of us; and You are greater than he that is in this world. Surely they shall gather together against us, but they are not sent by You. For You are for us Pirozzi’s and nothing and no one can successfully be against us. You are on our side; we do not have to fear ; what can man do to us? Absolutely nothing! You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, and of power, and a sound mind. No weapon formed against us Pirozzi’s shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against us in judgment shall be proven wrong. This is our heritage as servants of the Lord; servants whom You now call friend, and our righteousness are of You. We are not ignorant of the enemy’s devices. Those things that are meant for our harm, You Father have turned around for our good. Those things the enemy tries to do behind closed doors or in the dark – I thank you Father that the door is opened and the light is turned on, Holy Spirit you are revealing to us what enemy is trying to do. Immediately we apply the Word and plead the very Blood of Jesus and immediately the enemy ceases in his maneuver and stops in his operations against us. I thank You Father for the Spirit of Discernment; for I want to be in “the know”. I thank You that we know Your voice, and the voice of a stranger we do not follow. And when we hear You speak, we obey! We acknowledge You in all our ways of obedience. We are the righteous, and I thank You for ordering our footsteps. I appreciate all that you are doing and all that you are going to do in and through us Pirozzi’s in Jesus’ name.. This is part what I confess. There is more, but I want to give you alittle at a time. I take the time to pray these things so that I can get them in my spirit and develop the faith to bring forth the manifestation of them in my life. The more you say a thing, the more you hear it. The more you hear a thing, the more you believe it. The more you believe a thing, the easier it is to stand firm and receive. I hope you’d been blessed by this. Putting On My Armor!

Well Hallelujah!!! Thanks be unto God who always causes me to triumph. I win in Jesus’ name! It has been one thing after another over here in my world. I thank God for Jesus because without Him all hope would be doomed. I’ve said it before, the devil hates me. I guess I would too if someone was waging war against my kingdom. And in doing so, I should have known that there would be attacks; and knowing there would be attacks, I should have been putting my armor on every day, all the time. I have been asking reader at the end of blog “Did you put your armor on today?” for about six and a half (6 ½) years now, and I had slacked off myself. You know I will tell it on myself; I do so that the enemy can’t hold anything over me. But after being hit by attacks of “firey darts” – finances, issues with the kids – it’s time to do that I should have been doing again, faithfully. Now the Armor of God can be found over in Ephesians 6. I put this very same armor on, but I do it a little different – I put it on from head to toe, then my accessories. Yeah, I take it to a whole other level. Now you don’t have to put it on like I do; the thing is that you do. And this is how I do it. Lord, I thank you for the weapons you have given me to fight against the wilds/tricks of the enemy. I thank you for my Helmet of Salvation, for I am saved. I’ve confessed with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and Savior; that He died on the Cross for my sins, and on that third and glorious day He arose and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. Not only that, but I am seated in Him in Heavenly places far above all might and dominion of the enemy. I thank you for my Breastplate of Righteousness, for I am the righteousness of God. And because I am the righteousness of God, I have right-standing with Him, and because I have right-standing with Him, I can boldly enter the throne room of God and make my request known. When I pray, my Father hears me; He bends down to hear his daughter, Shan. I pray Your Word Father, for you hasten to perform your Word. You are doing a quick work where my requests are concerned in Jesus name. I thank You for Your Word for Your Word is the only truth in my life. I gird the Truths of Your about the loins of my heart, my spirit and my mind. I live by the Truths of the B-I-B-L-E and that which I believe You’ve said unto me. I thank You that my feet are shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace. Every situation, every circumstance I am faced with today, I walk in it in peace, that peace that only you can give, that peace that surpasses all understanding. Because I am the righteousness of God, the effects of my righteousness is an internal and external peace; the results of my righteousness is a calmness/quiet and confident trust forever (Isaiah 32:17 AMP). I thank You for my Shield of Faith that quenches every firery dart of the enemy. My faith is bigger than a grain of mustard seed, and is grown bigger everyday; my confident trust in You is getting stronger every day. My faith is big enough and my confident trust is strong enough to pull in those things I need for myself, they are big enough and strong enough to pull those things I need for my family; they big enough and strong enough to pull those things in I agree with others. I am strong in my Lord and in the Power of His might. I have the mind of Christ. I immediately cast down every vain imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ. I think on those things that are pure, lovely, just, honest; if there be any praise or any virtue, these are the things I think on. I fight the good fight of faith, and I win. Last but not least, I thank you for my Sword of the Spirit which is your Word. Every time the devil try to raise his head up and say anything contrary to what the Word already says who we Pirozzi’s are, what we can do, and what we can have, I began to weld my mighty sword, speaking Your Word out of my mouth, and immediately the devil begins to cease in his maneuvers and cease in his operations against us. The devil is a liar and a defeated foe where we Pirozzi’s are concerned in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen. Now you might say ‘It doesn’t take all of that.’ You haven’t been under attack like me either. Like I said, you don’t have to put it on like I do – just make sure you put it on. It is so important that you do this every day, every day. The devil does not like you if you stand for God, if you doing good, saving souls for the God’s Kingdom, you minister the Gospel – he hates you. We, as Christians, go out into battle every day of our life. If he, the devil, can’t get to you through direct attacks, he will begin to attack those you love, things going on in their lives that will indirectly attack your focus on God. Put that armor on – EVERYDAY! This is WAR! Make sure you are prepared with the Word of God and that you are equip with the weapons to help you STAND! Remember there's a sinner's prayer on this site. Trust God & Stand Firm

You alone are my Rock and my Salvation;
You alone of my God, I will not be shaken
You alone are my Fortress and my Refuge
You alone are my God, I can always run to
Though the waves my rumble, though the oceans roar
Though the mountains crumble and fall in the sea
I will never tremble; I will never fear
I know that you are able to rescue me.

Oh, if it had not been for the Lord on my side……….. I will stand firm and see the Lord’s Salvation. Though a thousand fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, it shall not come near me. Though there seems to be no way out, I will trust in the Lord. For the things that I see are subject to change, and change for the better. When I can’t seem to hear Him, I will press forward for He is always speaking. I will continue to speak His Word, and only His Word. I will continue to dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High, abiding in the shadow of the Almighty. He alone is my Refuge and my Fortress; He is my God, and I do trust Him. He alone is worthy of my praise, and I will praise Him all the day long. I will speak of His goodness, mercies and grace; for His mercies are new every morning towards me, His grace it is sufficient. It is the Lord’s will that I prosper and be in good health; even as my soul prospers. Lord, I thank you that my soul is prospering in you every day. Nothing in this world is more important to me than seeking Your face, Your kingdom and preparing myself and others to be ready for Your son, Jesus’, return. Though it seems as though my world is crumbling around me, I will keep my eyes on the prize I will receive when my Jesus returns. For He, Himself, shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with a voice of an archangel, and with a trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall arise first: Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to be with our Lord Jesus in the air: and be with Him forever and ever!

These words do bring comfort, and I hope that they comfort you in your darkest hour. These Words should bring our focus back in line with what is truly important –Jesus being our everything, our Lord and Savior. Let Him be the one you run to. Though it might seem it, you are not alone; for your deliverance is here. All of those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Do not be afraid of the things going on all around you, for He is more than able to deliver/rescue you. Jesus is rooting for you to WIN! He ever lives to make intercession for you – Oh yes, Jesus prays for you! He loves you with an undying love. Choose to make Him Lord today!

What Are You Basing Your Life On?

There is so much going on in the world. Every time I turn on the news I hear of more people losing their jobs, increase in unemployment and sickness and diseases. There are some people dealing with divorce, problems with their children or stress of on the job. There are many distractions we have to deal with. This being said, ask yourself – Do I base my life on my circumstance or on the Word of God.

I have gone through some things where I based my life on the things going on in my life; the circumstances said that I was “doomed!” I couldn’t see a way out. Have you ever gone through something where the circumstances were so “in your face” and so loud that you couldn’t see or hear anything else but that circumstance/problem? I think we all have been there at least once. Even though your circumstance/problem presents itself “bigger” than God, it’s not! In one on my children’s books it says “There will never be anyone or anything greater or more powerful than God.” This is so true. I think we don’t always know or believe this when presented with really big problems. I thank God I have learned to turn to the Word of God when situation, circumstance or problems arise. God’s Promises are yes and amen. His Word is true and should be the only truth in our lives. The Word of God WORKS! When problems arise, I know that I am not alone. I can be strong and courageous because God never leaves me nor forsakes me; He’s with me everywhere I go (Deuteronomy 31:6). Psalms 16:7-8 says

7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. 8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken for the Lord is right beside me. Amen! When we can’t see a way out, God will guide us, counsels us out of our troubles; we cannot shaken knowing that the Almighty is right beside us. God knows the thoughts He has towards us; they are thoughts of good and not of evil, to give us a hope, a future, and expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). Is unemployment good or evil? I think it is fair to say that it is not good so it must fall under the “evil” category. The God that we serve is a good God that knows how to give good gifts unto His children (Matthew 7:11). Having a job is a good thing, being able to pay your bills on time is a good thing, being able to afford your home is a good thing, having a faithful and loving spouse is a good thing. This is all the Word of God, His will for your life, and His Word is what we should be basing our lives. We are the righteousness in God through Christ Jesus. We are more than conquerors in Him, God, through Christ Jesus.

We can conqueror any circumstance that comes our way with God on our side. God is on our, the righteous, side; we do not have to fear! What can man do to us with the Almighty on our side (Psalm 118:6)? God is for me; therefore, no one and nothing can be successful against me. He always causes me to triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14). You don’t know these things if you don’t read the Word of God nor can you live or experience them. Stand firm on the Word of God and see His Salvation for you! You are not doomed! You can and will make it with Jesus as Lord.

How's Your Love Walk?

1 John 3:17 asks if anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?

It is written in Romans 5:5:

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Matthew 5:46 states:

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors (sinners) doing that?

Matthew 5:43, 44 states:

43You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy; 44But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Today I ask you as I ask myself; How is your (my) love walk? I’m talking to all but especially to those of the household of faith. Do we really love as our Lord loved us; or is the love that we are giving from self, which is limited? How is it that in our services we profess our love for one another yet when we walk out of the church doors that love is nonexistent until we see one another again? How is it that we can have a friend whom we love for years, then the day comes when they disappoint us, hurt us or just do something “dumb”, and the love that we felt strongly, so we have confessed, is gone? Was the confessed love genuine or based on conditions that we fail to state? Jesus loves us unconditionally. Are we to love any less than He does? It is written that they would know us by our love one for another (John 13:35). What does your love say about you? 1 John 4:20 states:

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. (Selah – Think on this!)

Let us who name that name of the Lord so walk in the love that He shed in our hearts. Lord, help us to love as you love. Without Love how can you forgive? If you don’t forgive, you will not be forgiven (Selah). 1 John 4:21 states:

And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.

LOVE is an action word!

Good News!

Happy New Year! It’s a good day to praise the Lord. 2012 is going to be a GREAT year, and we are going to talk about one of the reasons today! I don’t know about you, but I love getting good news. Good news gives one hope; it encourages us to keep moving forward. The best good news in the world is found in 1 John 5:10-15:

10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

We believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. We know and believe that this is the truth. Not only do we, as Christians, know this but we keep the commandments by loving one another and our Lord God with all our hearts, souls and bodies. We know by doing this we have eternal life through Christ Jesus (verse 13), and when He comes back, the first time, we will be with Him forever and ever Amen. Verse 12 made this so simple: who ever has Jesus has life (eternal), but he that does not have Jesus does not have life. You either have it or you don’t. You either do the Word of God or you don’t. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. Time is ticking, and now more than ever we need to have the Word of God; in other words we need to have Jesus.

I keep reminding myself also ask the Holy Spirit to keep me focused on the Word of God; keep my eyes on the prize I will receive when Jesus comes back. I say “Distraction(s) leave me alone!” Now is not the time to be distracted by the cares, trial and tribulation of this world. I’m not saying not to live and love or not to pay your bills, but to stay focused on God’s Word – in everything see what the Word of God says about it. When we have Jesus as Lord, we have the confidence to enter the throne room of God and make our request known and He hears us! Say it out loud right now – God HEARS MY PRAYERS & ANSWERS THEM! – When we pray according to His will, His Word. Search the Word of God and pray it! God hastens to perform His Word. Because we have Jesus, we have confidence that when we pray, according to His will, God hears us. We can roll the cares of this world upon Him for we know that He cares for us (1 Peter 5:6-8); the enemy is pulling out all the stops to distract you and keep you distracted.

Just a little more good news before I go. Our loved ones that have not made up their minds about Jesus that we have been praying for still have time to make Him Lord – that’s good news. But we do not know how much time they have; so continue to pray, continue to encourage them – the Good News is that they still have time!
