True Prosperity
A lot of people think that “true prosperity” is having all the money, the fancy house, nice car, spouse, the child(ren) and successful career. All of these things are good and desirable things; I want them too. Psalms 84:11 says that no good thing will He withhold from those who walk upright before Him. God wants His Sons and Daughters to prosper. He doesn’t want us to be poor like some people believe. God even gives us the desires of hearts. Who desires to be poor? No one! There will never be a time that you ask God for something, that is expensive or nice, that He will ask you to ask for something lesser. We are the King’s kids. Remember that God knows us through-n-through. I do not believe that He will give us anything that will turn us into an undesirable son or daughter. Sometimes some people get things, and they turn into a whole different person.
