It's Time to Maintain

Hello, Hello All: I know it seems as though I've been "A-Wall" lately, but I needed to fight some battles. I am still fighting the good fight of faith, and waiting my complete Victory in Jesus's Name. Now back to the message at hand "It's Time to Maintain". We can maintain many things in many areas. In some areas, it can be hard to maintain for many reasons. Many of you know that I love to workout. I’ve taken many classes and have done countless video workouts. The results are awesome. I looked and felt awesome too. As my life changed, in becoming a wife and stay-at-home mom, it has been somewhat difficult to maintain my workout regiment, weight loss and look of “awesome”. I still love working out, but finding the time, doing effective workout (interruption, children between legs and having the energy) has made it difficult maintain a regiment and desired weight loss. In taking the time to think about how to maintain my workout, I’ve learned that I have to make up my mind to do it every day and make the time to do it. It’s the same with maintaining a relationship with God. You have to make time to pray, make time to read and study His Word and make time to praise and worship Him. Those things that are important to us; we make time to do and to have them. You say that having a relationship with God is important, it’s a “must have” or a “need to have”; then make time to maintain your relationship with Him. I’m talking to myself too. Things have happened in my life, and I spend so much time on researching, and trying to understand and to change or fix it. We have to be able to let go and let God. Yes, it is easier said than done; trust me I know. We get stuck, and we can’t get stuck. Sometimes we get stuck on a thing and we won’t move; it’s hard for us to move forward. Standing still isn’t maintaining; it’s doing nothing, and in any relationship you have to be doing, talking and loving. There are things that are expected in all relationships, and when you know what those things are, you need to do them, and continue to do them over and over again – maintain them. And as far as our relationship with God goes, we have the Bible to know what is expected from us in our relationship with Him. Is your relationship with God as important as you think it is? How often you pray and talk with Him? How often do you read and study? Life can be hectic and challenging circumstances arise that distract us. I know your relationship with God is important, and I want to challenge you to recommit to your relationship today. Maybe you have made up your mind about serving God, or know someone who hasn't made up their mind. Keep your eyes and ears open; look at all the chaos going on in the world - all at the same time. Now is not the time be “stuck” where the Kingdom of God is concerned. Now is the time to be doing! Now is the time to recommit, make the effort to learn and know what is expected of us in our relationship with God and doing them right and over and over again - It's Time to Maintain!!!! Did you put on your armor today??? Be Encouraged Today!!! Remember there's a sinner's prayer on this site. If you have back-slid or haven't tasted and seen that the Lord is Good, say this prayer. You don't have to be in a church building to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. There is a moment that will happen, and it will happen in a twinkling of an eye (as fast as you can blink), and those who have confessed Jesus as Lord and have walked according to the Word of God will be raptured up to be with Him forever and ever. Yes, it sounds too fantastical to be real, but don't take the chance that it's not and be left behind. So don't put this off. No one knows the hour or the day when this will take place, but it is for us to be ready when it's time to go. The first step is to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. If you say this prayer, contact me; let me welcome you and personally encouraged you in your new life with Jesus!
