Casting Down Imagination/Bad/Negative Thoughts

Now I know I'm the only one in the world that does this - get carried away with thoughts. Thank God I've learn to cast those negative thoughts down, and that I have authority to call those things to be not as though there were. I no longer get carried away with my thoughts. You know, this life can deal us an affair hand. It can seem so unfair even to us that believe. As some of you know we recently moved from Virginia to Georgia. I loved Virginia, and I didn’t want to move. This move seems to be nothing but problems. I registered the kids for school, and Dorrien has had a hard time adjusting. No matter what we do, it’s seems like we can’t get ahead. I had to take Dorrien to the emergency room, and I recently found out that I have an iron deficiency – low iron count. Sometimes I just don’t understand why things happen to me. I do understand that time and chance happen to us all; that’s what the Word of God tells us – He has forewarned us. But what I don’t understand is why it’s back to back to back. It’s like I can’t catch my breath from one battle to the next. Faith in the Cross & Apostasy - A Defining Line

Ok, so I’m taking out my broken record again. I cannot express the importance of the Message of the Cross, the Cross of Christ, His Finished Work – His Death, Burial and His Resurrection. This is where our Faith should be placed. It is the Faith that Jesus will be looking for when He returns. The Cross of Christ is the one thing that began this life of Salvation in Christ Jesus for us. It is the sole reason for our Justification which is by Faith in His Precious Sacrifice on the Cross. Our Faith in what was accomplished for us on the Cross allows the Holy Spirit to help us live sanctified lives before God. Jesus’ Finished Work on the Cross is the foundation of our Salvation, Justification and Sanctification. We need to get back to the root – Jesus and Him Crucified. I believe that, for such a time as this, that the Message of the Cross is “resurfacing”. OK, so I have just been reading and studying something very interesting on my own. It connects directly with my cybersecurity education. I have been studying cyber threat intelligence and the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and it is very interesting. I would truly love to have a job doing this—even in the smallest capacity—just to be able to work in this field. In cyber threat intelligence, we use TTPs—tactics, techniques, and procedures. The MITRE ATT&CK framework uses tactics, techniques, and sub-techniques. Sub-techniques are essentially the same as procedures. All of this deals with bad actors—people who attempt to steal intellectual property, credentials, and many other things. They have motives. They use tactics. They apply techniques and procedures in order to accomplish what they want to do. As I was thinking about this this morning, it struck me that, in the very same way, Satan operates against all of us. Troubles..........No Problem

Hello: There was a time when I wished that life would smooth and easy, free from pain, sickness, and sorrows – free from troubles. I always thought “If I could live on my own personal island, just for me, life would be as it should. I look at my kids and wish they’d never know a day of pain, sickness or lack. Children should be free to run, skip, jump, and play without “bad stuff”. I use to say “I’m never having children. Why would I want to bring a living person into this world?” The world is not always fair, kind or without heartbreak or hardships. When I was growing up, the older people would say “If you haven’t been through anything, just live awhile”. I didn’t know what they were talking about then, but now that I’m grown, have my own husband, children – my own life – I get it! Thankfulness - The Message of the Cross!

Thankful for the Message of the Cross Today is a day that we enjoy family, friends, and food. It is a time to rest and recoup, as well as a time to reflect on the things that we are truly grateful and thankful for. I am thankful that I am still here among the living, and for my husband, children, and extended family. Some reflect on being thankful for careers, travel, and life in general. With all of these in mind, I have also been reflecting on my thankfulness for hearing and being able to understand the Message of the Cross. It has made such an impact on my life. I want to share some things from the great book—the Bible—that show the importance of having our faith placed in the Finished Work of Christ. Before I begin, I want to stress that everything Christ Jesus did and said is of utmost importance. However, it was at the Cross that God’s Plan of Redemption for all who would believe was fulfilled.
