Mercy, Not Wrath

The Living Water speaks of the Lord's mercy and not His wrath. Boy am I glad that we have new mercies every morning, and that He loves me unconditionally. He gives me chance after chance because He loves me. And I pray that I continue in His will. Sometimes we can get so far out of His will for us (His will being His Word) that He takes His protective hands off of us. God can not look upon our sins. Trust me, I've been there, and that's not a place you want to be - out of His will. When you're not in the will of the Lord and His hands have been removed from you, then things are allowed to happened - things that we wouldn't have to go through if we were in the will of the Father. If you are wondering why things are going on in your life, and you're going to church, then begin to look inward - begin to examine yourself to see if there is an area(s) that you have not dealt with - areas in your life that you have not put under the blood of Jesus. He is Not a Man

I thank God that He is not a mere man - that He is God and doesn't act like man. He is not a mere man that He will lie - everything He has said in His Word He will do. He is faithful that promises. His mercies are new every morning and His grace is sufficient for us. He loves us unconditionally, and when we sincerely ask for forgiveness, He forgives us. The Living Water is talking about forgiveness. How often we should forgive the same person? Jesus respond by saying seventy times seven (70 x 7 =490). And He's not talking about over the course of your life, but within a day. Now, I have not arrived in this area of my Christian walk. I still have alot of work that needs to be done. I have the "I forgive, but don't forget" syndrome. Usually when someone has wronged me, I just "feed that person with a long handled spoon" - meaning that I just don't interact with them as much.
