Mercy, Not Wrath

The Living Water speaks of the Lord's mercy and not His wrath.

Boy am I glad that we have new mercies every morning, and that He loves me unconditionally. He gives me chance after chance because He loves me. And I pray that I continue in His will.

Sometimes we can get so far out of His will for us (His will being His Word) that He takes His protective hands off of us. God can not look upon our sins.

Trust me, I've been there, and that's not a place you want to be - out of His will. When you're not in the will of the Lord and His hands have been removed from you, then things are allowed to happened - things that we wouldn't have to go through if we were in the will of the Father.

If you are wondering why things are going on in your life, and you're going to church, then begin to look inward - begin to examine yourself to see if there is an area(s) that you have not dealt with - areas in your life that you have not put under the blood of Jesus.

Have you ever had thing(s) in your life that you do and that you know are not pleasing to God, but you enjoy doing those things? You know that it's not good for you as far as the Kingdom of God is concerned, but you haven't dealt with that thing, that thing that no one knows about.

Those "secret things" hinder us from being blessed, and they also cause the hand of the Lord to removed from us. And you wonder why things are happening in your life whether they be big or small. It's because there are things that need to be addressed and dealt with.

But God doesn't cast you into the lake of fire, He gives us opportunity to return unto Him through prayer and repentance/forgiveness to deal with thosethings. He has also given us the counselor and helper, the Holy Spirit wholeads us in all truth.

Take the time to deal with those hidden secret things in your life, bring them before the Lord and let Him wash you clean of that unclean thing this day!

Did you put your armor on today????

Be Encouraged!
