The Gift of Jesus

Hello my fellow brothers and sister in Christ Jesus. God is still on the throne, and His promises are yes and amen. I just love, love, love this time of year (Christmas and New Years). It’s a time that people are happy and enjoying family, friends and food. It’s a time for us to give and think of others rather than ourselves. We are reminded how Jesus was born to give His life for us, and we also recognize, with the New Year, the grace God has given us to start anew; indeed, everyday is new because everyday God’s mercies are new. I do hope that you remembered to think of Jesus during this holiday season. Maybe you even gave someone the gift of Jesus the best gift that anyone can receive, but if you didn’t don’t worry there is still time.

God gave us the gift of His son Jesus. He loved us when we were unlovable when we were not doing things pleasing in His sight. He has graced us through our hard-headedness; harden hearts towards Him and our hard times. God gave the awesome gift of His son Jesus so that we could be engrafted into His family. But the giving didn’t stop there…….. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. So there is no more condemnation to those of us that belong to Christ Jesus, and we belong to Him. We confessed with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and Savior of our lives, we believed that He died on the cross for our sins and that on that third glorious day that He arose and is now seated at the right hand of the Father; He ever lives to make intercession for us. WE ARE SAVED!!!! And if you haven’t made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, then I hope you consider making Him so. And if you have gone to church all your life, but haven’t walked according to the Word of God (you’ve been phony – just be honest), then make the most important New Year’s Resolution you can make – being completely sold out to Christ!

So as you were opening and giving gifts and making new year resolutions, I hope you made the decision to extend the invitation to others (family, friends, co-workers, everybody) to know Jesus. Or perhaps, you have finally decided to be completely sold out to Christ Jesus – doing the will of the Father, His Word. There is no greater gift than Jesus. Though all of the gifts received or resolutions made to do things better are awesome, good, great, and grand; they depreciated and can lose value or we lose interest, fade or can be destroyed. The gift and/or the decision to know Jesus completely will never lose value; as a matter of fact, it increases as you cultivate your relationship with Him. Our excepting Christ Jesus makes us the righteousness of God. The result of our righteousness in God through Christ Jesus is peace (internal and external). Because we’ve made Jesus Lord and Savior of our lives, we have this peace; because we are saved, having right standing with God, the result is outward and inward peace. The peace that only God can give; the peace that surpasses all understanding. It never fades, but shines brighter the more you seek Him. The love of Jesus for you can never be destroyed. In Romans 8 it tells us that there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God. Now I must say this for some, God's love does not give us a license to sin! So don’t think you can live any way you want. God loves the sinner not the sin. Remember that God does love us, but if we decide not to live according to His Word (living any way you want), He will still love us; He will love us all the way to the gates of Hell (just being honest, and you need to know this).

There is a sinner’s prayer on this site for you to receive Jesus in private or to lead someone else to Jesus! If you pray this prayer, I’d love to hear from you. I love you, Jesus loves, and He is coming soon for those who look like Him and belong to Him. Make the choice to follow Jesus before it’s too late!

JESUS IS COMING!

Did you put your armor on today??? There’s still time!!!!

Be Encouraged today!!!
