But God.........

You know I’ve learned and still learning, that when God speaks – whether He speaks through His Word, directly to your spirit or through a man or woman of God (make sure it bears witness to your spirit) – our response should be “Yes Lord”. But how many of you know that the enemy, the devil, sometimes talks to us too. When the enemy tries to remind you of the person you use to be, brings up a past deed that’s under the Blood or is constantly bringing up the hard situation you’re going through now, your response (our response) should be “But God”! Everything the devil tries to bring up or say to you, there’s at least one “But God” to throw right back at him. Only a few know of the hard times my family and I have just come through. My husband, who has supported our family faithfully, was let go from his job like so many others Americans. We had just had our youngest son, Gianni, and a week later he was let go. Never in a million years would I have thought something like this would happen to my family, but it did. My husband went on many interviews and had countless phone interviews. We were receiving unemployment of a whole $222 a week for our family of five (5) now. The money we had saved went so fast like we had holes in our pockets. I had to really swallow my pride. I had to apply for food stamps, and my children were on Medicaid. This was not supposed to happen to us. We were tithers. I worked in the church; yet this still happened to us – it does rain on the just and the unjust alike. It’s funny now, but when I first got my food stamp card I was so embarrassed. On my first grocery visit, I asked my mom to go with me because I was just too embarrassed to go alone. I know, I know…… a grown woman needs her mommy to go to the store with her. It got better; I just reminded myself that my kids needed to eat, and eat they did – they eat like adults. So I thank God the food stamps were there. Through this time, there was some serious spiritual warfare going on; I really had to fight the good fight of faith. The enemy would tell me that I was failure, but I knew this was a lie. I would remind the enemy “But God told me in His Word that whatever I set my hands to prospers”. I have a prosperous family – I am prosperous as a wife, a mother, child of God. The devil would tell me “You’re going to have to be on food stamps for the rest of your life. You’re just a statistic”. But God supplies ALL of my needs according to His riches, not mine, not what I have in the bank, but according to His RICHES in glory through and by Christ Jesus. He is Jehovah Jirah, my provider. God is my Sheppard, and I lack NOTHING!! I confessed this EVERYDAY. And you know what, even though we were on food stamps and Medicaid, My God continuously opened up doors of financial opportunity for us. My husband is an IT Guy. Just when the devil would tell me “You’re not going to have enough money for all the bills this month”, someone would call and ask Aaron to fix their computer. We NEVER missed a bill (we did have to make an arrangement a couple of times for our rent, but it was always paid within the month). BUT GOD!!! My confident trust has strengthened due this hardship in my God. Yes, I wished it could have been strengthen another way, an easier way, but Your way Lord. There isn’t anything He can’t do. If you have the GREATER ONE living on the inside of you - I don’t care what you are going through, you WIN! I don’t care what the devil may say “BUT GOD!” You are not going under; you’re an overcomer, in Jesus’ Name. You are not cursed; you are blessed. You are blessed in the city, and you are blessed in the country. You’re on top and not beneath. Just continue to say what God has already said. No matter what you are faced with – But God! Not matter what the others or the devil may say “But God”! Don’t go out like that; stand firm and confident that YOUR Lord, God can and will take care of you, bring you through victoriously and is more than able to deliver you! BUT GOD! Two small words, but if you can believe them they have the power to change your outlook and your situation. But God – Do you believe? We win! Remember there's a sinner's prayer on this site. He has RISEN!!!

Well, Praise the Lord! We just celebrated one of the most important days in the Christian Faith - The Ressurrection of Jesus Christ. If anyone tells you that Jesus was just a "good man", they are sadly mistaken and WRONG! Don't let them tell you that Jesus was not God; He was God made flesh. Just as I wear many hats (Shan the Wife, Shan the Mother, Shan the Daughter - Thanks mom for the clarity), God is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God said "Let US make man in our image." If someone tells you that Jesus is not worthy of your praise, well............. I'll keep my opinion on that and say just pray for them. He gave His LIFE so that we can boldly enter the Throne Room of God; so that we can be reconciled back unto Father; so that we can call God - Father, Dear Father (Abba Father). Get in the Word of God and know It for yourself. Don't rely on what others say lest you allow deception to enter. I am not saying to not listen to others, but go search out the Word of God for yourself to make sure what they are saying is in line with the Word of God; that it bares witness with your Spirit. We are in the Last Days, and the Word of God tells us that even the "Elect" (Those that know the Word) will be deceived. Ask the God, The Holy Spirit, to help you not be deceived; He is the Helper, The Councilor. Now more than ever we need to know the Word of God. Be bold and stand up for what you believe. Do not be afraid to tell others that would say things, like above, what you believe is Truth. It is time for the Body of Christ to be BOLD, and stand up for our Lord, Jesus, and the Word of God. And for those who would argue when Jesus was "really risen" I say "I don't care when it happened, but THAT it happened". I don't care if Jesus wasn't born on exactly December 25th, but that He was BORN. It Happened. He was Born, He died, and He Rose AGAIN. He is seated at the right hand of God, and is soon coming again. Things are getting in place for His return. Don't be caught off guard, distracted and without enough "oil" as the five foolish brides - I'm talking to myself first. Be ever watchful, ready. My mom and I were talking about how it will be "unpopular" to wear the name "Christian" soon; it's already happening and some are abandoning what they believed for years. Don't give in to the ways of this world. Stand for Truth - The Word of God. Remember there's a sinner's prayer on this site. GET UP!

Proverbs 24:16 states: Even if godly people fall down seven times, they always get up. But those who are evil are brought down by trouble. Whether you fall into sin, because of disappointment (in yourself or due to others) or because you feel like you have failed – GET UP! Now, we as Children of God do not habitually (knowingly, practice) sin either (1 John 3:6 NIV). Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You’re not the only one plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before our generous God who has great plans for us in Christ — eternal and glorious plans they are! — will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does (1 Peter 5:8 MSG). The devil doesn’t get the last word – God does – GET UP! God is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He knows your end, and your end says “You WIN!” GET UP! He knows the thoughts and plans He has for you; they are thoughts of good and not of evil to give us a hope, an expected end! GET UP! We also know our enemy’s end, and he is defeated. The things we go through are temporal; they are subject to change and as Children of God they will change for the better – GET UP! What you are going through right now might seem too hard, but with God NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE (Mark 10:27)! We have to know and believe it with all our heart. All things, not “some” things, but ALL Things work out for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28) – GET UP! That’s me; that’s YOU! GET UP! No matter how or when you fall know that God loves you and will forgive you. So you don’t have to stay down; you can GET UP! Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). Only YOU can make the choice to GET UP! You are not defeated; you are the Righteousness in God through Christ Jesus! Guardian Angels

Well this is going to be a blessed day in the Lord! Keys locked in the truck; can't take my daughter to school. Oh but Jesus is still on the Throne, and He alone is worthy of my praise. Devil you still LOSE! HA! Sometimes you just got to laugh in the devil's face, and let him know that he can not steal your joy! For this is the day the Lord has made, and I have already made the choice to rejoice and be glad in it. Many of you may know, my family and I moved from Louisiana to Maryland, and we drove with three (3) kids and two (2) dogs - yeah, it was a "fun" drive. I must say this was the most nerve-racking drive I have ever made. It's not because of the kids or the dogs as you may be thinking, but because we had a trailer attached to our Chevy Trailblazer. The guy at the Uhaul said "You'll never know it's back there." Well that guy didn't know what he was talking about, and we did more than just feel it. We fought that trailer the whole way to Maryland. It was so bad that my husband wouldn't let me help him drive; bless his heart, he drove the whole way. Thank you Father for blessing me with an AWESOME husband! What really made this drive so horrible was that the trailer was causing us to cross over into the other driving lanes. Of course this was a huge problem; I mean there was precious cargo in that truck, and my husband and children were there too ; ). But all I could do was pray in the Spirit. I pleaded the Blood of Jesus over the truck and trailer and over our path to our destination. But while praying in the Sprirt, I heard "Guardian Angels". Oh, Oh, Oh Psalms 91 10, 11 (AMP): There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. I immediately told MY angels God has given especial charge of me and my family to get on their posts around us; we all have our individual angel - I believe we have more than one - in my family's case there were at least five (5) angels around that truck and trail. They were defending us against the evil of "car wreck" that was trying to befall us. Oh, oh, oh, but God! So many times we do not acknowledge that we even have angels. I use to acknowledge and put our angels on their posts around us all (on our way to work, school or to the store) the time, but as you know we sometimes get lax in our confessions - Ouch Hallelujah! But that's the thing, we have to be consistent in what we way say. We'll confess a thing for a while, then we'll get off of it. But something like commanding our angels to protect us and pleading the very Blood of Jesus over us, our paths, dwelling placing (home, work etc), we should do on a DAILY basis. When you know better, then you'll do better; and if you didn't know, well now you know. It is AWESOME to be a child of God. I know that the Word of God works when I work it! Put your angel(s) on their posts. Give them something do! I know some are probably saying 'Well God gives the command to the angels accompany and defend us, but should we not be saying what God is saying??? At least thank the Father for giving the angels especial charge over you - acknowledge this; acknowledge that they are there! I know that someone out there is going to get "technical" - so there! Did you put your armor???? Be Encouraged Today!!!! Remember there is a sinner's prayer on this site. If you have backslid or know someone that has not made the choice to make Jesus, Lord and Savior, then say this prayer. You do not have to be at a church alter to receive Jesus as Lord. Don't put this off thinking "I have time to make this decision" or "I'll make Jesus Lord when I get my life straight". Do not put this off for tomorrow may be too late. I don't think we have much time to make this choice. I know it sound too fantastical to be true - that Jesus is returning in the clouds - but there is a moment that will happened in a twinkling of an eye - as fast as you can blink. Daily Confessions Continued!

Well praise the Lord! Jesus is Alive, and He is seated at the right hand of God. I have Jesus as Lord and Savior; therefore, I have the Victory! I didn't realize how many confessions I made until I decided to share them with you .... Whew! I will be posting one more daily confessions post, and we should be finished. Well now after thanking and praising God for all He is doing in, through and for me and my family, I proceed as follows: Lord, I thank You for the authority You have given me as a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, a daughter of the Most High. I thank You for the authority over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, the beast of the fields and the fowls of the air (Gen. 1:26). So every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, the beast of the fields and the fowls of th air, you have no place or authority in my home, and I command you to stay out! I plead the Blood of Jesus over my home, inside and out. There's power of protection in the Blood from the creeping things, beast of the fields and fowls of the air. I plead the Blood Jesus over all my property, inside and out. I thank you Lord that you are no respecter or persons (Act 10:34), and just like with the Children of Israel, you are preserving the Pirozzi's belonging (Joshua 24:17). I plead the Blood of Jesus over the grounds that my home sets on; and if anyone or anything sets a foot or a paw on the grounds with the intention to steal, kill or destroy or to cause hurt or harm, the Blood will cause them to have a change of heart in Jesus' name! Lord, I thank You for the authority to call those things to be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). I thank You that every member of family is saved, sanctified and set apart for Your Kingdom. We seek first Your Kingdom and ALL righteousness, all things are added to us. We are the righteousness in God through Christ Jesus. We are the head and not the tail. We are on top and not beneath. We know that the trials going on in our lives are temperal; they are subject to change - and change for the better. I thank You that we are blessed and can not be cursed. I thank You Lord that All of our needs are supplied - we lack NOTHING! I thank You Lord that we are debt free - owing no man anything but love. We are highly favored of God. Favor surrounds us as a shield. It goes before me and after us. Surely, goodness and mercy are following us all the days of our lives, and we will dwell with You forever and ever. Amen and amen! Our Daily Bread

Well Praise the Lord! It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me. If you don’t know by now my husband, Aaron, got a job – Praise God- all the way in Maryland. He has been gone since the end of May. So I’ve been here with the kids and the packing. Well, I was hoping that we’d be up there by now; housing is so expensive up there and we have dogs too – so there have been issues. Though that might be so, where God guides He also provides (I have been reminding myself of this), and there is nothing impossible with God. I am a serious planner; I expect for things to go according to plan. It doesn’t have to go exactly the way I want it, but the results should be the same and accomplish around the same time. Well it has not gone according to my plan, and to be honest, I have been out of sorts. I have been up and down, and sometimes under “down”. When I was down, I would always get "up" with prayer and encouragement from my mom/pastor. I have “bent” her ear more than I’d like to admit, but I am thankful she was there willing to listen and correct my wrong thinking. I know it’s the result on lack of fellowship with God and lack of sleep. I am here with my five (5), three (3) year old and the 10 month old. I have cried the tears of exhaustion more than I’d like to admit too. Oh, but weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). If I didn’t continue to pray – no matter how little it was – I could have gotten myself caught up in something I didn’t need to. The enemy doesn’t strike when you are strong; he comes when you are at your lowest. I turned off my phone, computer and would have turned off the TV if it hadn’t been for the kids. But while they played, I listened to some Word on my MP3 – my spirit was near starving. Times of refreshing comes from being in the presence of the Lord. I was thinking to myself‘Give us this day our daily bread.’ Now this is not something I pray all the time, but have heard throughout my walk with Christ – but you better believe it’s about to become part of my daily confessions from now own. I don’t plan for a day only, but try to plan out as far ahead as I can. But the Word of God clearly tells us not the worry about tomorrow. Matthew 6: 30-34 states: 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? 32 For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. 33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things, taken together, will be given you besides. 34 So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. And furthermore, we have no clue what tomorrow may hold; and therefore, have no control over it. Now I’m not saying not to plan; having a plan is a good thing. Proverbs 19:21 states: Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. And we should want the Lord’s purpose to prevail over our plans; though I can make a really good plan – kidding smile! It is when our plans don't go as expected, and we lose our hope – the foundation of our Faith, and that’s a bad thing to happen. For where there’s no Faith, there is fear; where fear is Faith cannot operate. Without Faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). I have been confessing that I fight the good fight of Faith, and I WIN! I begin thanking God for my daily bread – everything I will need to be successful for the day. You can and should do the same. He is the supplier of ALL our needs, and He will give us what we “need” for the day – whether it’s rest, peace, healing, strength – whatever – He will give it to you. We have not because we ask not; Luke 11:10 states: For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. If you don’t ask for your daily bread for the day, then you won’t receive it. Remember there's a sinner's prayer on this site.
